Mad Hatters Tea Room - Derby - Photo album

Great place for breakfast and cakes. Lovely views along the canalside. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating.
Our first visit, which was for lunch with my parents and we were extremely impressed. The place was immaculate, staff very friendly and welcoming. Food was well cooked and presented. A steady flow of people arrived during our visit. There was four of us on this visit and we had jacket potato with tu
I can't rate Mad Hatter's highly enough. It is one of Derby's best tearooms. It's great value for money, the food and drinks are all prepared to perfection and service is excellent. The homemade cakes will blow you away. Sitting outside by the canal in the morning sunshine is wonderful.
Absolutely delicious food, came out promptly and such a beautiful seating area looking out onto the canal watching the boats go by.
Excellent. Very accommodating. Lovely food. The cakes looked tremendous ..... we'll just have to go back again for cake!
Delicious home cooked food. A lovely setting by the canal.
Great place, staff were most welcoming. Breakfast was very nice 😋
Our favourite place to stop and have a drink and a bite to eat. Watching the T300 serve food and drink is an absolute delight to watch.
Food was good. Not a huge choice but enough for lunch. Staff friendly but a bit flustered when busy.
What a lovely find! Great cafe (once I found the door!). Friendly staff & delicious homemade fresh food. Just needs the entrance to be more clearly signposted! Will definitely go back.
What a great little tearoom in a brilliant setting. Working locally I decided to give this place a try for a takeaway breakfast. What a treat this was! Delicious, highly recommended!!
Called in for a quick coffee on Wednesday, very nice staff and good coffee, will certainly return soon
We stopped off here as a stop on a boat trip from Mercia Marina. We ordered a hot chocolate and a bottle of coke with some cake. The hot chocolate was massive and tasted amazing. The cakes were huge, delicious and couldn’t even finish them, so brought them back with us!! The staff were really friend
Really friendly and stunning location and cake. Found this tea room while on a bike ride. Warm welcome and even better homemade cakes. Great seating inside and loads outside overlooking the canal
Beautiful food & good service we will be back.
Quirky setting and with real China teacups and brimming mugs of Cappuccino. Seated in a lovely space by the canal
