Tried this place for the first time in August 2023. Drove from Sheffield to Derby after hearing about it. Parking is a nightmare, best bet is park 5 mins walk away. Service was a bit slow, but the food was very nice and warm. Ordered mix donner. Lamb, chicken and meat. It was nicely cooked with just the right amount of salad and sauces on. The photos are not the best but the food is very nice.
I travel from Birmingham to Derby just for thier donner and lamb sheesh, best in the game for them little lamb pieces

I’ve been here b4 over Xmas & new year period. I came back to derby on Sunday & have already been here twice tee hee. I’ve read all the reviews I’m white English born & bred & never have I felt racism from Mr McTurks. I absolutely recommend the Mr McTurk special :) I hope to visit again every time I come to Derby. :)

Legendary döner kebab place. I always have and recommend the döner shish mix. Great value. Thoroughly recommend this place.
Only downside is the availability of parking.

Mcturk kebab is absolutely amazing!!! We love their food. My favourite is their special kebab with their special mint and mild sauces.

Can't fault McTurks. Late night munchies during and overnight stay in Derby. The guy in the shop was absolutely great, and recommended a mixed Shish Donner, whilst telling me all about why they are so unique.
The shish meat is prepared in house and was tender and well marinated. Their nan is freshly prepared and so light and fresh. The chilli sauce is their own recipe and not ready made (quite rare in most kebab shops now)
All in all I wouldn't hesitate in visiting again when next in the area. Excellent value and quality. McTurks clearly take pride in what they do.
