My dog literally drags me through town to this bar to see the friendly staff for a nice drink and a bag of crisps. Staff go the extra mile to cater for everyone with food. Good food and veggie options. Good place to eat, have a quiet drink or go see some awesome live music in the evening!
Great staff and great bar, live music is excellent and had the pleasure to witness many great performances.

Visited here to see where the great music had been coming from every time I walked by. First thing I noticed was how clean it was. Great management, affordable pool, very nice atomsphere!

I can confirm all the positives that have so far been posted to be true. Cheesey vegan lasagne better than the real cheese version, I don't know how! They need to start doing pizzas! The Chips are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The food is all freshly prepared, just like you'd do it at home, which for me, is important. No microwave meals here.
Try not to be too deterred by the appearance of the building and some of the clientele, the food I ate was high end stuff. Ambience is relaxed and friendly, with staff eager to please. Definitely recommended. I would encourage all, but vegans especially, take a look at the menu I ordered from. Two meals for £10.95 has to be worth a try while in Derby.

Great little town pub, lovely staff and good beer too! Music nights are worth looking at, and has an open mic night every week as well. Prices better than many city-centre pubs.
Food is to die for, home cooked Food, 2 mains for £9.95 it's a no brainer for me.

Great pub that I’m very fond of. Used to go when I was a student in Derby and upon returning recently it’s still full of character and characters. Decent pint, food was always of quality. Recommend Friday and Saturday. Mobility is a problem, accessibility is tight and toilets are on another floor.
Nice and inexpensive place with the cool Irish interior. Barman recommended me steak pie and he wasn't wrong. It was yummy. Bar maybe looks hidden behind the corner but make a stop and have a refreshment during the warm days.

The food is always brilliant and hot. I have never had a bad meal. I went there today and every table was occupied. This just shows that word is getting round how good the food is and reasonably priced too.
On a day out in Derby my friend and I stopped here for something to eat. The staff were very pleasant, the bar was not crowded and the meal was great. I had the vegetarian option, there was loads,didn't need anything to eat for the rest of the day. Also great prices.
Absolutely fantastic new owners are really friendly. Customers were really nice. Went in for 1 drink ended up staying until closing Deffor imprived
