Visited here on way down to Cornwall. Went has had good reviews and is dog friendly.
Was worth a visit. Old fashioned pub feel was really nice. Brilliant food even our dog got treated by one of the young ladies and one of the regulars treated her too.
I had a delicious burger partner had Sunday dinn
Visited when attending a gathering after a burial service at nearby St Edmunds Church. A very good spread and a lovely atmosphere despite the occasion. The staff worked hard to provide us with an extremely good time.
I now live in Wales second time at the Red Cow excellent. Twice been after a funeral of my brother and sister inlaw. Highly recommend.
Beautiful gluten free food , the pizza was so good I was worried that they’d accidentally given me the regular one but nope it was just extremely well made. Friendly staff and nice chilled atmosphere, would definitely go again
Unbeatable value. For £45 you or I can have a starter plus a main course from the small plates menu. Thats around the same price as a lunch at other local pubs. Except...this is £45 for a whole week, 5 starters and 5 main courses from the small plates menu (basically a business lunch menu). So thats
Some go out because they can't cook, some go out because they can't be bothered to cook. Some can cook well. Non would be disappointed. Truly enjoyed the food. As will you. I would have taken the time to take photos of the food, but looked too nice. You would have done the same.
Lovely pub a little disappointed that they didn't do food on Tuesdays. The garden furniture very tierd .
Lovely pub, friendly staff and great service. Nice beer garden too.
Great place for a lovely meal. Friendly staff.
Had a fantastic meal here, food was outstanding and very well priced. We will definitely be visiting again.
Great couple of pints of Landlord and scrummy seasoned chips. Very chirpy ladies behind the bar as always.
This is our local which we always choose for our Sunday lunch as we have been to lots of different places and struggle to find a good Sunday lunch until going to the red cow. It’s not expensive and all great quality plus the staff are fab. They are doing an evening event on Tuesday 14th March at 7pm
Lovely village feel . Great ale and food
Usually avoid this local pub because of poor beer and service in the past but going for a impromptu meal with friends from Scotland we were very pleased with the beer, the 4 meals and the excellent waiting on staff. We'll done - will be back.
Quality village pub. Excellent service, good menu, and well appointed. Highly recommended.
Been here here a few times over the years. Never had a bad meal. Last time I was very impressed with the quality of the meal. The Sea Bass was very tasty. Have they got a new chef or is he just getting better. Well done.
