Wonderful Afternoon Tea for my Sister’s birthday. We had a beautifully set table in the gazebo with views of the lock and canal. The service was brilliant and the food plentiful and delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty with plenty of tea and coffee. We were checked on often and felt very looked
We often call in when passing on our walks. We personally find the atmosphere to be welcoming and friendly. The menu is quite extensive for the size of the cafe.
They also offer lovely cakes and desserts.
Prices are reasonable and we have always found the food to be good quality.

We've just enjoyed a fabulous full afternoon tea at the coffee shop. It's right by the lock gates so we could watch the narrow boats navigate the lock gates while we were eating . The tea was superb, dainty sandwiches, slices of quiche and sausage rolls, then fruit scones with jam and fresh cream.
Great place to stop, refuel, chill and watch the world go by. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast.

Lovely elderly ladies behind the counter so polite and friendly I think one of their names is Marion. Wonderful food and coffee. Such a great find. Definitely would recommend it’s so Clean, cosy and welcoming.
Beautiful place with restaurants and resting areas. You could walk around, if walking is your thing

Very quite little cafe with friendly staff and fair prices if the weather's good csnt think a nice place to relax as the boatd come through the locks. Also right next too a nice pub if you fancy something alcoholic.

Nice place with lovely food. Shame about the construction work to the lock, but this can't be helped. Would happily recommend and return if in the area.
We ve been coming here for 2 years now, it's in a fantastic place to watch the canal boats going through the lock. There is a an expansive menu offering delicious food and the staff are always welcoming and friendly, we can't wait for our next visit
