We had a few pints early doors and sat outside, we then noticed they did curry and a pint for £8.99 with chips or rice, so we thought we'd try it and it was very nice and not out of a packet as we expected for the price would recommend👍
Not from Mickleover, but often visit to see close family. Really like this place – the ales are spot on, the food good and reasonably-priced, the lad behind the bar was polite and attentive and when outside in the (nicely-kept and tidy!) garden, we felt really welcome by staff and a few locals. Far more than an ‘estate pub’ and well worthy of a visit!
Friendly staff. Nice beer. Exceptionally clean. Lovely garden area. Wish it was my local but I love too far away.

Update December 22: I called up with little notice to get 5 of us in for the Sunday dinner. They managed to fit us in and were extremely friendly on the phone. When we arrived, the friendly atmosphere was there with again a great beer selection. The Sunday dinner was fantastic and plenty to go at. I'd definitely recommend it and we will be back. A special mention should be made for the staff who definitely add to the experience.
