Excellent service and welcome from this lovely little café today. The vegetarian Breakfast was 100% definitely going back! The lady was lovely to our kids, great service.
I meant to write this 5 months ago, better late than never !!! anyway, my car was at a local garage that specialises in mg’s. i had used the cafe on a previous visit and decided to visit again whilst waiting for the car to be ready. i ended being at the cafe for 3 hours in total as more work was needed on the car than anticipated. The proprietor of the white orchid was extremely accommodating and kept me supplied with tea whilst i waited. I did have the belly buster cob at the beginning of my visit .. its just awesome, i highly reccommend it if you are hungry .. Dont hesitate to visit this cafe, you will be thoroughly looked after !!
A great find just outside the city serving a good range of breakfast and lunch choices. My partner and I had full English breakfast and coffee with fried bread (a rarity). Well cooked and tasty and a satisfying portion of food. The coffee was of a fabulous quality. Great value for money.
The owner was a very sociable and pleasant and the chef also.
Great experience highly recommended and will visit again

I visited WOC today, and was greeted by a lovely, welcoming lady at the counter. The cafe was bright and clean.
The Full English breakfast was superb. Nothing was too greasy, and unlike many places their black pudding was lovely. Lovely food and lovely staff. I wish I lived closer! Thank you White Orchid Cafe lovely food and a lovely welcome is becoming a rarity.
A lovely, warm and unpretentious cafe. Its cottage pie is pretty comforting on a chilly day
Lovely cafe friendly staff great food
We have recently starting using the cafe for orders in the office for breakfast. Considering we sometimes give quite large orders, we have never had an issue. Everything from the quality of food to the 5* service has been great. We will continue to use this cafe for our office breakfasts. Thank you staff for everything you do, a real 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude and we could not be happier.
It is our favourite place in Derby for a proper full English and GREAT coffee. They never let us down. It's delicious. Great English hospitality. Interior is lovely.
Not open weekends for breakfast as otherwise my husband and I would be very fat by now. :)
Brilliant little cafe easily the best in our area by far. Friendly staff and lovely produce good quality meat's,cake's etc great for full english breakfast and cobs and lovely sandwiches For work or just passing Give it try you won't be disappointed 😃

Friendly team .... attractive décor. .... good coffee....wish they'd asked me if I'd like the latte in a cup.... I keep forgetting everywhere serves it in a glass. I prefer a cup .... must remember. But a lovely place and will go again.
I went for breakfast whilst having some work done on my car. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and polite there was plenty of choice , crayons for small children to play with. You can eat in which i did or just order a take out. Food was good not greasy and reasonably priced. You were not hurried and it was a pleasant atmosphere.
