NEW ownership! been coming here for a decade now, at the beginning of the year the owner was running the place into the ground, very sad watching it happen in real time food got worse by the day, unprofessional money hungry idiots bought the shop of the original guy or something, thought it was easy running a shop, place was closed for a few months after but its back! and I must say looking a lot better, food quality is up there and the prices compared to a lot of place is cheaper, god bless you lads, saved the local chippy!!
Definitely a must try, the freshly fried fish and chips did not disappoint. Also ordered the kebab and have to say a fish bar specialising in kebabs is a rare commodity these days. New management’s approach has taken this place above and beyond other takeaways.

The service was outstanding just as the food was. I would highly recommend for a quick and tasty meal. The fish is crispy and soft, and the chips are of a high standard too.
New management blew my expectations out the water. 10/10 customer service and the food was delicious. Recommendations are the Fish ofc as well as the curry dishes and pizzas.

Definitely the best chippie in derby did not let me down in any aspects whatsoever and definitely deserves a 5 star review will not be disappointed.
Food was hot and fresh and the staff were lovely and willing to help out. Would very much recommend to anyone and will definitely be back myself 👌👌

Nice fresh tasting food. Polite, friendly delivery driver. The only issues were the garlic & cheese naan bread was distinctly cheese free & the pizza was missing chicken. So what you order may be fresh & tasty, but might be lacking some ingredients.
