Haven't been in this pub for a few years so was good to see a few familiar faces π has change a bit since my last visit " for the better I might add" nice little darts set up ππ
Lovely service. Far too expensive for a small bottle of diet coke.
Busy times children allowed in pool table area only which makes sense if the working men get a bit roudy.
There is plenty of parking with easy access.
I'm not sure about wheelchair access. I didn't see. WiFi options also.

Great pub since refurb. Some good value larger however recent price increase sees my favourite IPA neck oil go up to over Β£5 a pint. Will still visit but not as often as I used to.
The old beer garden has been slabbed and benches installed with the old kids play area demolished meaning it's not a child friendly place as it once was which is a shame.
The refurb however is great, pool table and darts available. No food available but they allow you to bring your own. We occasionally pick up a burgerella/mighty Joe's for the kids and walk back to the pub for a drink.
Worth a visit if in the area

New COVID system works well. Hand sanitizer on entry. Ordering point, drinks collection point, laser temperature check done on customers. I felt safer in there than I do in some supermarkets.
Good family pub. Also allow dogs inside, obviously well behaved.

My pub for 36 years.bang on.but recently i went in on a Saturday and saw that they do "freshly filled cobs",i ask the landlord timothy if i could purchase one and to my horror and dismay he said they weren't available as the cook is in mexico.never mind.ππππππ

We had a wake at the brackens which they were more than happy to help with upon short notice. Couldnt fault them for the hospitality with good prices thrown in ππ½
Very loud music not to my liking. Preferred it like the old brackets.
New owners always nice and warm in there ,and plenty of special offers on drinks
