I had a lovely date with my little daughter, the food was fantastic and the dessert was absolutely lovely. The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff were very friendly and so helpful. Can't wait for our next visit

Had another amazing night out with the family and dinner was delish as always. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff as lovely as ever. We had the lasagne which is a must have and the cheese burger which was a little more on the crispy side than normal and the carvery which was also lovely.

The manageress is a beautiful and helpful lady and the young ladies they all greeted us with open arm's and lovely ☺ smiles.
The chef was very obliging and friendly and helpful.
Overall the atmosphere was very warm and inviting, everyone in there seemed to be having a laugh 😂 and when we left we were thanked and told to have a lovely afternoon and evening.
So to Finnish I would like to thank all the staff for a lovely meal and for there professional support

Haven't been for a while had lunch today with some of my family it was delicious a choice of Beef, Turkey and Gammon all cooked just right a good selection of vegetables and the Yorkshire pudding were massive couldn't fault Anything 👌😋 it was SO good I forgot to take a photo of my plate to share with you on my review 🙄🤣 will just HAVE to go back 🙂 😋 Maybe I'll remember🤔

Back again 10th April the mega mixed grill is great if you've got a good appetite 😋

Popped in last week and was greeted by a lovely staff member whom was blonde and young (unfortunately can not remember her name but it started with a B). we was seated quickly and had a look over the drinks menu to which I am a picky person due to personal reasons. The same staff member was happy to assist with questions and made me feel very comfortable to be able to ask. Overall the staff are lovely and I would happily come back. The blonde girl was always smiling she was friendly and lively.

We stopped off here for a spur of the moment carvery having been recommended by a friend. The carvery was delicious with generous portions and a help-yourself gravy station. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived but the waitress couldn't have been more accommodating in order to find us seats and get us served. Will definitely be visiting again

For a chain pub I was pleasantly surprised, very clean and tidy with pleasant staff. Food as expected and served in timely manor.

We have visited this pub quite a few times since our move to Norfolk last year. The staff are always very welcoming and go above and beyond to ensure our experience is a good one. All our visits have been unplanned, so we have not reserved a table, but the staff have always managed to accommodate us. The meals are always hot (if relevant) and well presented and likewise with dessert. The staff will check throughout our meal if everything is to our liking. On leaving we are bid farewell in a sincere and friendly manner and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Greenstone you all do a first class job!

Today we had the most Amazing Carvery. We have eaten at Greenstones many times and had good food. But today it was outstanding.The chef, Martin was friendly and the food was so tasty. We were sat so we could see the Carvery. Martin was making sure that the food was not drying out by turning the veg and checking that all was good.

We were taking friends out to celebrate an 81st birthday. Need is to be quiet because he has leukaemia and can't take a lot of noise and I have Asperger's so I also hate noise, crowds, hustle and bustle and bright lights. Hence, we only book during term time to lessen the possibility of screaming kids. Pot luck when I booked the table on my phone so we were DELIGHTED to see that we had been allocated table 5. Nicely in the corner so away from the main body of the venue. Got lucky, in that we had no near "neighbours" lunching close to us.
Food was good. We each had something different with the birthday boy (with the leukaemia) managing to clear his plate! First meal he has finished in weeks, so his wife was over the moon! She has joked, s** trying to cook for him at home and it's wasted, just bring him here, lol.
I hadn't been to the Greenstone for over a year when it was heaving that time, so it was good to return when it was not so hectic. Going out with Autism is always tricky, but this time I was fine and would come again to eat at lunchtime. My scampi and chips was lovely with perfect golden brown chips. My partner had the Ultimate Southern Fried Chicken Burger which was very tasty and big enough to satisfy him (he's 6 ft 4 and a half, so a big lad!). The birthday boy had the carvery roast and his wife had the Kebab with the flatbread and doner meat.
All good. Will definitely be back.

Pleasant greeting when our party of 6 arrived. Efficient bar staff with our drinks and food orders. The food was very good with the carvery given a 10 out of 10 and “the best carvery they ever had” comments - great selection of food and huge Yorkshire puds. We had a lovely experience and will be coming back.

we (my husband and I) enjoyed our Christmas lunch. The staff were very helpful and attentive. I have mobility problems and walk with 2 sticks, Our drinks were carried to our table for us, and my meal was carried from the carvery deck for me, This is not a one-off, it happens whenever we visit Greenstone (usually 1 - 2 times a month)
The food was very good, as usual.

Really lovely food, hunters chicken with a twist was great, large carvery was huge and filled my eldest up (still room for ice cream) and really lovely helpful staff, Cassie was particularly friendly. Great dessert too!

Went for a meal with the family. The steak was small and burnt. We had about 10 chips. The mushroom wasn't cooked. The portion size was tiny! Not happy paying 3 meals for 50.00. Awful place. Won't be back.

Thought we had found a regular fish n chip Friday eating place to give us a break from cooking ourselves, first couple of visits were excellent, then it went downhill. Obviously due to kitchen staff as front of house always pleasant and friendly. But you really must find someone who knows how to cook? Fish was covered in soggy oil soaked batter and frozen chips were not cooked thoroughly leaving them hard in the middle. Mushy peas were in abundance but flooded the plate. I should not have paid for this meal but did and left with doubt of returning!

I would recommend Greenstones to anyone without hesitation. We had a lovely evening. The food was really good and the staff were friendly. Service was relatively quick for a family of 5.
We will be definitely going there again. Perhaps next time we’ll try the carvery.

Chips were over cooked and hollow inside, obviously re fried.The overall quality of the food has dropped by quite a lot recently.We did send back the meal, to get the chips changed.
The restaurant wasn’t even busy during our visit....so no excuse for the poor quality, we were not the only table to send back food.After we had complained no one actually came over to ask if everything was ok.
A Disappointing visit.......we will be looking for a new venue.

Have been to the Greenstone many times last night the food came. Luke warm fries. Cheese not melted on the burger peas like bullets. Sat us on what has to have been the wobbliest table in Dereham table 15.No check backs from any member of staff considering that the expo point was right next to the table.

I have always enjoyed my food from here. However my husband has a Gluten allergy & he had a Naan bread dished up with his curry, despite me ordering from the gluten free menu.
It was was quickly sorted out though, but this combined with the small selection on the gf has put him off.

Staff friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble, restaurant clean and comfortable and well presented. Had a Christmas meal with friends so food had been ordered in advance for everyone, prawn cocktail starter very nice, turkey carvery main the meat was lovely the yorkshire pudding was huge the veggies were hot and perfectly cooked, chocolate praline pie for afters was delicious. All food arrived promptly, we were regularly checked on to make sure all was OK, I was very pleased and thought it would be a lovely place to return to.

My meal was lovely but it was only a fish cake, the rest of my family went for the carvery and had to send their plates back as the food was cold, sadly their replacement places weren't much better. Sad to say they won't be returning.

After hearing some wonderful and some bad things about greenstone we finally decided to go and to be honest I could fault the food at all. Nice choice for the kids which they loved they could choice what they wanted and both mine and hubbies food was perfect. Differently thinking of going again for the Sunday dinner
