Really lovely food, hunters chicken with a twist was great, large carvery was huge and filled my eldest up (still room for ice cream) and really lovely helpful staff, Cassie was particularly friendly. Great dessert too!

Easy and convenient booking service. We always have the carvery and the staff are always friendly and professional. Unfortunately the food isn’t always hot enough, the potatoes are quite hard and the veg is always overcooked. If these things could be improved it would then be perfect.

The chef on the carvery today was absolutely amazing, and went out of his way to make me a salad which is what I really wanted, It was the best salad I have had here and I have to come every week with my grandmother. The chef makes you feel like nothing is too much trouble and even put so much effort into presentation. Will now come back

We visited due to receiving a 30% voucher off at our local pub. It was a really hot day and we didn't really feel like cooking so this was something of a weekend treat. My husband and I used the website to book a table outside as it was a very warm evening and that was really easy to do. We were greeted at the door and given a choice of tables in the garden. We ordered steak and me and surf and turf for my husband and the meals were delivered looking appealing and appetising. The steaks were tender and full of flavour and it was a perfect portion. We both said that even the chips seemed better than usual, nice and crisp and not at all greasy. We left satisfied after enjoying a great meal. Thank you!

Once again Greenstones have out done themselves, firstly we booked a table for 5 of us however a couple of friends joined us and they accommodated us no questions, following this the bar staff were quick courteous and full of smiles and banter. Finally the food came quickly and it was hot, looked and smelled amazing and tasted just as good so much so we rounded it off with dessert from the cake section this topped what was a great day so thank you all 😃

Lovely to arrive and see nearly every table was taken. Immediate smiles from the staff, we had booked and gave the lady ( sorry can’t remember her name) our name and immediately shown our table. Menu has something for everyone, we didn’t choose the carvery for a change… our friends had the fish and chips which arrived before us and they looked so gorgeous we though we had made a mistake in our order , our came our order which was stale and ale pie and it was absolutely gorgeous… totally satisfied and have nothing to complain about at all and considering how busy they all were, it’s full credit to all staff

Accommodated a group of 14 of us.
Good range of items on the menu and lots of meat on the plate for the carvery. I had carvery envy despite a tasty burger so hope to make it back before the holiday is up to fit in another meal!

We had a group booking of 15 for my 50th containing 2 special needs children, needed wheelchair access and an adult with severe anxiety. Everyone was made to feel comfortable in a very relaxed and calm environment. Staff taking orders were perfectly calm and polite as were the staff delivering the feed. The manager Danielle was amazing. Would definitely be retuning. Thank for making my birthday so much fun.

Service was amazing! The food was so delicious and hit all the right places. However we had 1 waitress who made us feel like we were just an inconvenience in her evening, all was sorted in the end and we want to say a huge thank you to the servers and staff all did an amazing job!

Went for a meal with the family. The steak was small and burnt. We had about 10 chips. The mushroom wasn't cooked. The portion size was tiny! Not happy paying 3 meals for 50.00. Awful place. Won't be back.

Thought we had found a regular fish n chip Friday eating place to give us a break from cooking ourselves, first couple of visits were excellent, then it went downhill. Obviously due to kitchen staff as front of house always pleasant and friendly. But you really must find someone who knows how to cook? Fish was covered in soggy oil soaked batter and frozen chips were not cooked thoroughly leaving them hard in the middle. Mushy peas were in abundance but flooded the plate. I should not have paid for this meal but did and left with doubt of returning!

I would recommend Greenstones to anyone without hesitation. We had a lovely evening. The food was really good and the staff were friendly. Service was relatively quick for a family of 5.
We will be definitely going there again. Perhaps next time we’ll try the carvery.

Chips were over cooked and hollow inside, obviously re fried.The overall quality of the food has dropped by quite a lot recently.We did send back the meal, to get the chips changed.
The restaurant wasn’t even busy during our visit....so no excuse for the poor quality, we were not the only table to send back food.After we had complained no one actually came over to ask if everything was ok.
A Disappointing visit.......we will be looking for a new venue.

Have been to the Greenstone many times last night the food came. Luke warm fries. Cheese not melted on the burger peas like bullets. Sat us on what has to have been the wobbliest table in Dereham table 15.No check backs from any member of staff considering that the expo point was right next to the table.

I have always enjoyed my food from here. However my husband has a Gluten allergy & he had a Naan bread dished up with his curry, despite me ordering from the gluten free menu.
It was was quickly sorted out though, but this combined with the small selection on the gf has put him off.

Staff friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble, restaurant clean and comfortable and well presented. Had a Christmas meal with friends so food had been ordered in advance for everyone, prawn cocktail starter very nice, turkey carvery main the meat was lovely the yorkshire pudding was huge the veggies were hot and perfectly cooked, chocolate praline pie for afters was delicious. All food arrived promptly, we were regularly checked on to make sure all was OK, I was very pleased and thought it would be a lovely place to return to.

My meal was lovely but it was only a fish cake, the rest of my family went for the carvery and had to send their plates back as the food was cold, sadly their replacement places weren't much better. Sad to say they won't be returning.

After hearing some wonderful and some bad things about greenstone we finally decided to go and to be honest I could fault the food at all. Nice choice for the kids which they loved they could choice what they wanted and both mine and hubbies food was perfect. Differently thinking of going again for the Sunday dinner
