Myself and my family would never miss a get together at Timberquay - the staff are warm and friendly and the food is top quality and delicious and very good value for money - I would highly recommend Timberquay for special occasions or even just a tea time treat �
Love this restaurant. Food is high quality, affordable and a great range for everyone. Having a food allergy the staff are always very helpful and plenty of alternatives for me. Would recommend this restaurant for families, couples, parties. Great nite out or lunch time treat. Would recommend the cocktails as well ��
I've been to Timber Quay a good few times and they never seem to disappoint!! the food was excellent as always... menu fits to everyone's needs with a brilliant choice of different foods. Excellent value for money! the staff were so welcoming + friendly and the location is beautiful!! I would recommend to anyone ... looking forward to returning!!
Attended a 50th birthday meal, were there was around 40-45 people, staff coped very well with the big group of people. Top quality food, with top quality service would definitely recommend and will return.

Just spent another lovely evening in Timberquay, the food was excellent, plenty of choice (I brought a few fussy eaters), excellent value for money, staff were attentive and pleasant and the location is beautiful. Whether it’s for family celebrations, a night out with friends or a romantic meal for two, it’s my favourite place in town!

Lovely restaurant and the food is unbeatable.
We had the spiced tomato soup, ceasar salad, fish tacos and Louisiana chicken and everything was delightful.
Ordinarily, I hate tomato soup, but I could have eaten a bucketful of this one. Amazing.
The fish in the tacos was crunchy and flavourful, but something in the toppings left a bit of a strange aftertaste. Not bad; I would order them again, but they'd be nicer without the bitter aftertaste.
I ordered fries as my side and they were the tiniest bit undercooked. Nothing special, but they're french fries; you know what you're going to get with them.
Portion sizes are reasonable as are the prices and the server was friendly and attentive.
Can't wait to go back. Even with the small flaws I mentioned above, I still give it a 10/10.
Finally found a place that does good food! Had the 5£ lunch special, chicken burger was juicy and had proper chicken breast, the steak and mushroom pie was very nice as was the toastie. Will be back
AMAZINGGGGG!!!! We have been touring all over Ireland for 15 days, and this is by far my favorite restaurant that we have been to thus far. Steak was cooked perfectly, dessert was excellent, singing and harp playing were a beautiful accompaniment to dinner. Everyone in our group had an excellent time. If I had to make a "complaint", it would be that they didn't offer us post dinner tea or coffee. But otherwise the service, the food, and the ambience were all outstanding.
Went there with a large group for dinner. The food was outstanding and the staff friendly and attentive. Beautiful atmosphere with with a warm, modern feel that looks out to some spectacular scenery.
Overlooking the Foyle. A jetty with boats outside disability parking at front door. Staff very pleasant very helpful. Gave time to birthday girl. Altered food for her .changed sauces from menu. .delightful meal.
Had an unexpected half day today and availed of the five pound lunch menu, with my son. The food was tasty, plentiful and piping hot. The service was also very good, the girls were friendly and efficient at their jobs. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Fantastic restaurant. Strawberry daiquiri is the best i have tasted so far. Steak is juicy and well spiced. Will be going against soon. Staffs were fast and efficient
We had a fabulous dining experience this evening. The food was delicious (we had the salmon and steak) and the service impeccable. We also enjoyed a delightful conversation with the friendly staff. We are visiting from Canada and would recommend this restaurant to locals and tourists alike. Thank you.
Haven't been here in a while. Follow on instagram and decided to get it a try again. Food was very good. Kids meals excellent. Service was fast and friendly, great place. I will be back.
Tried it based on Google reviews as we needed a stop off on way home from Derrybeg. We weren't disappointed - lovely food, great service and great atmosphere. Good menu including kids .menu.
The peppered chips, delicious. Southern fried chicken burger the best I have ever had. Very friendly staff too. Its incredibly cheap but don't let that put you off.
I’ve been to this restaurant loads of times and it never disappoints. Tonight I got the chicken wings to start and the chicken pitta pocket with garlic chips for main. All the food tasted fresh and it was all gorgeous. Really reasonably priced too. My partner got a cocktail and said it was really good and at £7.50 it’s a bargain! Honestly give this place a go. The service was brilliant too… I didn’t get the name of the women who mainly served us but want to say thank you for being so helpful and friendly.

Was pleasantly surprised when i popped in for lunch today & tried the marinated chicken tacos from their everything for a fiver lunch menu. Two substantial tacos loaded with filling & extra mayo on the side, delicious. I tried their ceasar salad side with it which was equally delicious. Fresh crunchy salad with lovely toasted crutons, bacon. Sauce delicately dressed the leaves without being too much & topped with grated parmesan cheese. Was just as it should be not vinegary or overdressed. The amount of chilli in the tacos was just right not overdone. There was more in the bowl of salad, I took the photo after a few mouthfuls 😄 The tacos & salad paired very well with the dragon fruir cooler which i had with my meal. I highly recommend the tacos.
I went on to have a flat white which was very nice served with a shortbread biscuit & a creme brulee with raspberries & a creme anglais with raspberry coulis, vanilla ice cream, biscuit crumb & shortbread biscuit which rounded off the meal perfectly, yum I'll be back.

Amazing place never disappoints. Really great Service first class.. My favourite is vegetable Thai curry. Great selection on menu something to please everyone. Food is well presented. Very child friendly place with a great selection of kids meals with an icecream afterwards. Very reasonably priced. Great selection of cocktails available here I have even tried a few. Staff always checking to see if you have everything you need. This is my favourite place to eat in Derry hands down. Thank you TQ for another fantastic meal.

Cosy restaurant with a nice view on the quay, few free parking areas around, and a very stylish interior. Relaxing music, comfortably spatious inside and a well-thought interior lighting (combination of ceiling lights and outdoor light).
The food is tasty and fully enjoyable.
Definitely recommended, especially for lunch and dinner !
