Fast service and good but a little greasy food.
We had the pleasure of hiring the ‘back room’ for after our son’s naming ceremony in the Guildhall.
Maria was so unbelievably helpful, she really helped me bring the day together. We had the chicken curry, garlic bread, chips and an hot finger… it was so delicious, the chefs are amazing, we were even able to take food home with us. The location of the room is just perfect. You wouldn’t have known the bar was busy because of where it is. Perfect for a private party. Highly recommend and thanks so much again Maria and all the staff.
Maria & all at Guildhall Taphouse were fantastic in helping us plan our second day wedding celebrations there. Maria was always so quick to reply to any emails/calls & the staff were all very friendly and attentive. We had the most fantastic time & used the ‘wee room’ for the day. The atmosphere is great & there was never any issue with bringing in our own entertainment and using their equipment for music. Would highly recommend it!
First time in since its been renovated. The food was amazing couldn't fault it. Nice astomspere and friendly staff, hubby loved the guiness definitely worth a visit.
The changes that they have made to the place have been spot on. Live music. Nice to have some pints, we will try the food next.
Absolutely delic and taste taphouse burger, nice staff and place is clean, great craft beer, great place for cocktails, live DJ outdoors, great music.
Really nice food and cocktails. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. My only criticism would be that it's draught beer offering is poor for a place with taphouse in its name.
This place has just undergone massive refurbishment, it's massive. Loads of nooks & crannys, ticks all the boxes for a nite out, decor is real nice, yous won't be disappointed folks here honest,il post proper good Fotos soon ,
Best seafood chowder I ever had. Awesome fish and chip and great selection of beer if your in the Derry area definitely stop by even just for a pint or a snack.
So I won a Facebook competition for a 3 course valentine's meal for 2 people and a drink in the guildhall taphouse, food was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish everything was cooked to perfection and the cocktails were amazing. Service was fantastic staff were amazing hardly any wait between courses and drinks. Highly recommend we will certainly be back ♥️

This place is brilliant. Great spot for a beer or gin, always busy any time of the week I have been in which is a good sign! First time eating in it properly today and I will definitely be eating here again. Good atmosphere whatever time of day you are in and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. What else do you need!

Very nice service and the food is very good.
Great bar with plenty of craft beers ( if that your thing ) also offers food ! Can get busy here at weekend so go early for table of stand all night !
Brilliant bar with very cool interior! I arranged the “wee room” for my sisters hen and it was perfect.The team were so helpful and attentive! Maria made the planning and organising so easy. Thank you!
Had lunch with my brother He enjoyed his Maiden City burger and I enjoyed the seafood chowder.
Hopefully I'll return soon. Oh and the Rosé and the IPA went down a treat too.

Great pub great selection of craft ales and beers £4.50 average price. The taphouse also has a cocktail bar with an amazing selection for the ladies but there is a wait when busy..
I do love this bar. The atmosphere is really lovely. It has both aspects of classy and casual. The renovation that it's received is really beautiful inside. Whilst the pints can be pricey, you know what you're drinking is unique and hometown brewed. It's definitely a pleasant experience! :)
