Lovely old architecture. Friendly staff & delicious homemade food. Desserts looked scrumptious but diet forbid! Highly recommended. Easy parking & nice garden area.

What an amazing place! We came here on a Friday night which was pretty busy. The waitress was on her own but nevertheless was exceedingly friendly and got us our food and drinks swiftly. She managed to find time to take a picture of us and would not take a tip because a service charge was already included on the bill. The food was very good and the ale was tasty. Highly recommended!

Lovely old village pub in Detling, near Maidstone. Friendly, welcoming bar staff. Good selection of beers, wine and spirits. Very good menu at very reasonable prices. I had chicken pie which was delicious and my wife had fish and chips. The fish was battered fresh haddock and was so big that she could eat many of the chips. If you get the opportunity please go there, you will not be disappointed.

Love this quaint pub. The food is always well cooked, hot, and perfect.

We went last night with our two dogs and had a wonderful time. I was very impressed with the Flint Eye lager. Our food was great and we didn’t have to wait long. The young lady who served us was brilliant. We will be going back.

It is a place full of period atmosphere. The staff are great and the food excellent. We have had Sunday roast take away from there and it was well packed in sensible containers and tasted great.

My friend's and I wanted to stop off for lunch on our way home from a weekend away and we find this place in Maidstone. Great location as just off the main road. The food was really lovely, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The people were friendly and it was the perfect end to our weekend away. Thank you.

A favourite pub where we meet friends each month. Lovely accommodating staff, great food and beers.

Had a very nice lunch ham off the bone sandwichs with chutney lovely fluffy chips and a side salad my son had whitebait, the only thing was we ordered bread and olives and we expected that first it came last!! Still I enjoyed my Rhubarb and ginger gin and tonic though.

Had a fantastic meal with family. Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Food was amazing and good value. Our dogs was made very welcome too. Will definitely be returning. 😍

Really good place. Great food reasonably priced for its high quality. A cosy welcoming atmosphere and staff that look after you. I'd highly recommend this pub to anybody in the Maidstone area. I had a mixed grill from the specials board and an Eton mess for dessert. Both were excellent.

A truly wonderful pub and restaurant. Great food that's really well presented. Family run with excellent service, friendly staff, all wrapped up in a cosy traditional pub surrounding. Looking forward to our next visit.
