Went in today, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing food. Parking is also available at the side dedicated to the cafe. Very reasonably priced too. Can't fault the place.
Desserts look amazing but I was stuffed so didn't get chance to try however tempted by how good they looked.
Super little place off the beaten track. Excellent value for money. We had a standard afternoon tea. Saw the deluxe version will be upgrading next time it looked amazing for a fraction of the cost of other places

Tucked out of the way in a Dewsbury suburb, it's not the sort of place you'd stumble across. Small and cosy, but they do take bookings. Counter service to order, but food is then served at table. Excellent range of food offering and healthy-sized portions at decent prices. On that score, I would recommend. Only downside was having to ask 3 times for extra hot water which eventually arrived after 20 minutes or more, due to waiting for the boiler to re-heat(!) Might I suggest a couple of rapid-boil kettles as a back-up? That slightly took the shine off what was otherwise an excellent experience!
Another great visit for a quick, easy take away lunch. Nothing is too much trouble and even during busy periods (23rd Dec) everything was running like clockwork for a tasty, nutritious lunch finished off with delicious home made cake...well it is Christmas. A heartfelt local business that I always look forward to visiting x
Well what can I say. Amazing afternoon tea. The manager was so lovely and kind. They start serving afternoon tea at 1 o'clock or after however becuase we as a group was travelling by bus we arrived earlier than expected at 5 t0 12. So the manager kindly said that they would make it now as she didn't think it was fair us waiting around. Amazing food a ace prices. And lovely staff. Even though the manger was under lots of pressure from rude customers verbally abusing her she still managed to keep her cool.
My favourite eating place ever!!! The caramel brownies are to die for! The feeling I get is that this is a place run by people who LOVE food 😊 Such a sense of pride and pleasure in the food and service - a very warm welcome each time I go - can't believe we have such a gem on our doorstep!!
Visited for the first time today with a friend wow what a place. The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing at excellent prices. Cannot believe we haven't been before. I cannot recommend it enough. Will be back ..thank you
We had coffee and cake. The price we paid was reasonable. The cakes arrived on love heard shaped wooden boards which I thought was a nice touch. The only down side sides are it's not at all spacious inside. You would struggle with a push chair or wheelchair. There is a car park but if it's busy you could struggle to get parked as it is only small. I would probably visit again.
Food amazing. Met friend for lunch as work in area. Meal was absolutely delicious, great portion, tasted great. Staff were absolutely brilliant and polite. Great service
The simple things, but done perfectly. Fantastic coffee; you can keep your town centre chain coffee shops - come here instead! Also, perfectly cooked poached eggs with a wonderfully balanced hollandaise sauce, all expertly seasoned. There's some good skills in that little kitchen out the back.
