A lovely Sunday afternoon in the Weavers, I got the gammon steak which was cooked to perfection. Very good atmosphere and the service was excellent. Good to see using local produce and Cider companies. Definitely be visiting again! 😁
We both had steak, which was cooked to perfection really well presented. The pepper sauce was really good too.
We shared a sticky toffee pudding, again really lovely.
Will be recommending to friends
Well it's been quite awhile since Dilton Marsh has had a pub and the Weavers definitely shows a good sign of being successful as on the day of being open it was very busy.
I like the new interior with the cream walls with the green coating underneath. The photos on the walls in the dinning area is a nice touch too.
To start I went with garlic bread which was done perfectly and not burnt. It was that nice I forgot to take a photo of it.
For my main course I picked a grilled chicken burger and asked for bacon to be added aswell. The grilled chicken was cooked very well full of flavour. The skin on chips were nicely done.
For pudding I went with chocolate brownie and vanilla ice cream and it was delightful and left me wanting more.
Overall I had a good experience eating at The Weavers it's been so long since Dilton Marsh has had a pub and with the staff being excellent and well mannered I think it will do very well for the village.
But I will say if your arriving by car there is very limited parking.
Really nice, friendly atmosphere, amazing staff. Nice, family-friendly place.
We are definitely coming back for more.
Steak is beautifully cooked.
Chips are soft and fluffy.
Burger is really juicy.
Today's sorbet was lovely too.
The alcohol pipes taste clean, no chemicals.
What a good place we are definitely supporting this venue and hope more people will join in great value great value great service great menu great people support them
Went for a Sunday roast today. Really good service and the food was good for the price. The deserts are not to be missed and that comes from someone who prefers to usually have a starter than desert.
Love the refurbishment, massive to change to the previous owners. It's very light and open with lovely furnishings.
Never realised that there's a beer garden around the back with around 10 to 12 tables. Will definitely be going back for drinks / food at some point.
Everyone's Sunday roast was lovely they said. However my nut roast sadly missed the mark...it was over cooked. Lovely accommodating people though. They also had a lovely wine menu.
We booked the Weavers for lunch as we were staying at a nearby campsite. There were 20 of us with dogs. The staff were fabulously friendly and made all of us very welcome. The food was great and the drinks very reasonably priced. We will definitely return.
Fantastic roast dinner, the beef especially was super tender. A great local pub, have been here a few times and the service is always fab. A great addition to Dilton!
Went here whilst visiting friends, very good menu the vegan burger was the best I've had, I understand the pub had recently been refurbished and it has been done to a very good standard, we all enjoyed our meals so much that we booked a table for another night, will certainly be going back when I visit friends again.
