Not for those lacking patience or unappreciative of good food. Proper small Pub, Proper Food and Attentive Staff that ask for feedback. Fish finger Sandwich is the best I've ever had and mum's crab pasta was Tasty.
Nestling at the foot of the gorge, a pivot point for the rocky bay and some wonderful views. Alas, the chef was absent on the day of our visit, but the friendly staff, tolerant of both dog and human visitors looked after us well. As the rain slewed down outside, the atmosphere inside was buoyant...
We were there on a corker of a day, the beach was busy. Queued to order and could see they were slammed, lots going on, kitchen struggling to keep up and they decided to halt orders for a bit to get back on top and reset. I was the last food order before the pause. I expected a bit of a wait but the
Great location to stop off wether or not your doing the Pembrokeshire coastal path walk. Restaurant area looks clean and tidy. Barman polite and attentive. Nice clean toilets on site always a plus point. Can sit outside or inside. Selection of beers / Cold Drinks and hot drinks to suit everyone's ta
We stopped for lunch after a long Ali around the head. Even though they were short staffed the service was amazing and food fantastic. My ploughman was tasty and enormous. I hope I get the chance to go back.
Really lovely pub - great food, speedy service and a beautiful location. The outdoor seating is fab and well spaced. Stopped here for lunch after walking part of the coast trail and it was a great reward. Highly recommend!
Nice Ale, good selection, staff and owner very friendly. Despite other comments, totally dog friendly with water bowls and even a sign warning the slate deck can get very hot in the sun and be uncomfortable for their paws.
We had a lovely lunch, quick and friendly service. We took our baby granddaughter and although the facilities were good, baby changing facilities would have been very helpful.
The best coastal restaurant I've been two, nice and snug on the inside and if weather is good the outside seating area is a must,a bit on the pricey side for food but it's worth it, the fish is fresh and you get a plate full, ice cold beers and dog friendly if you've got one.
A real quirky pub that works. What more would you want.
Superb.. seafood chowder and fish finger sandwich. Fab hot chocolate too..
FAB FIND..!! Lovely restaurant with great coastal views, and a relaxing atmosphere. Cosy and clever coastal decor. Staff friendly and attentive, great selection on the menu, I had delicious homemade fish pie with fresh veg. my husband said his fish and chips was lovely with a decent size of mushy pea
A nice view of the sea.Just 2 slices of bread with the plough man's. A friend had a children's portion of fish n chips.
Brilliant cafe, excellent food, the kids enjoyed sausage and chips whilst my OH rated the fish and chips as delicious. I had the salt and pepper battered squid which was also delicious. Easy car parking (although I imagine much busier in the summer months) and a lovely view of the beach and waves. L
Great food! - Brilliant service 👏 Looked after our little one. So friendly! Thank you!
Lovely pint. Wonderful placement. We didn't eat as it was a bit late for us and the kids. Serving (at the time we went) was 6.30 pm
A really lovely seaside pub/ cafe. The food was excellent, and worth the wait as they were extremely busy.
Only called in with the dog for a coffee so unable to comment on food but it looked lovely. Beer also available.
