Definitely a unique hotel. Can't say I have stayed in a hotel/pub/shop/post office before but my wife and I had a lovely 3 night stay. Staff and locals alike were friendly with plenty of banter which wouldn't suit everyone. Food was good and freshly cooked. I can recomend the Tarte Tatin If you like everything just so and people to fawn over you don't go. If you are more laid back and easy going you will enjoy your stay. One word of warning if you don't like walking up and down hills this may not suit😉
Beautiful quaint pub with shop and post office. Great beer garden to the rear with amazing views looking out onto the river Dart.
The heart ❤️ of Upper Dittisham. Pub, rooms, shop, Post Office and more. Parking behind the Red Lion 🦁 and additional parking 🅿️ in the Ham car park.
Penny and her staff are always welcoming, and their location is superb. I always stay here when in this part of the world.
We walked up from the river, we just wanted a drink and cake or similar. The lady was so helpful even though she'd finished serving food, she let us buy a loaf cake from her shop and provided us with a knife and plate. We had Cider from her bar which was delicious. The decking area to the rear has the most fabulous views over the river.
Quirky village pub that doubles as village shop and village hub.Great views from beer garden.
Super! We rang from the car, needing to feed smaller people and they were brilliant: food ready to go as we arrived and order had been taken perfectly.
Returned 2 days later and again fantastic service delightful chatty staff. The Beef Bourginon was delicious and the steak perfectly cooked... we're waiting for puds, but selection sounds yummy. Thank you
We ate a well cooked evening meal, good choice of mains and delicious desserts. Efficient and personable team running the service, with a sense of humour I enjoyed
Seems clean, nice complimentary hot chocolate and coffees. Staff are very 'local' seem very friendly. Quite a local place. Good for one night. Not the most touristy place though. Decent meals, bearing in mind its a shop, postoffice, pub and a b&b. Goods night sleep though
This is a true local pub. Run by lovely people, the pub is the hub of the village and is also the local shop and post office. There for the locals. Gredt selection of beer .

A cracking little pub, hardware, groceries, stationery and a post office all in one. We had a snack and a pint. Good pub food, amazing views of the Dart and only a short walk from the quay.
Very convenient having post office, village store and pub under one roof. View from the terrace is lovely. Barman an absolute scream - have great fun every time I come here.
Traditional pub with small convenience store and post office. Also suitable for a tea and coffee stop. Lovely outside terrace with views of the River Dart
Brilliant. Every village should have a pub cum shop cum post office. Good pint of Dartmoor Legend and a newspaper. Food was tasty and reasonably priced and staff and locals friendly and helpful.
