I’ve bought many things from here over the years mainly at Christmas time, spring and summer. More recently I’ve bought some garden furniture. The customer service was second to none, they delivered on time and when I have called back with the odd query about it they have gone over and above to help me out. I would definitely recommend Newbank at Dobcross

Warm welcome, great food, fabulous homeward, and good quality plants and garden furniture. Well worth a visit
The best garden centre around and the cafe and girls that work there are lovely delicious food friendly service and always a nice place to visit
The plants were all in excellent condition..the garden centre had something for everybody & so well laid out..i was visiting friends in Greenfield..will be calling in every time I visit..bought a few items very well priced as well
Food is spot on, nice helpful staff, don't feel rushed and can sit with a brew taking in surroundings. Lovely stroll around the garden centre then had a walk near the river. We love it
Like coming here when I visit my brother always enjoy the food there I sometimes think the plants and other stuff they sell are expensive but as they have no competition do I suppose they can be, I’m looking forward to my next visit maybe September
This is the first time we have been here and we loved it. It's set in a wooded valley bottom with that peaceful air about it. The plants are of excellent quality and value for money. can't wait till we go again.
Plenty of choice, nice cafe great displays and helpful staff
Lovely large garden centre, beautiful location, decent price's and lot's to choose from. Plants all appeared healthy and well kept. Bought a couple of house plants. Good selection of gift ideas, ornaments, candles and smellys. Large selection of homemade chutney, jams, biscuits, cakes and Sweet's. The little cafe looked nice and cosy , lots of negative reviews for the coffee so didn't stop and just took a flask with me. Free carpark. Went Saturday morning, reasonably busy. I'll definitely be going back. I recommend.
One of my Favourite places in the UK...
My every week go to locay I could eat here too all day everyday the foods delicious....
Lovely garden centre. It has a lovely shop which sells almost everything you could think of and more. It had some very unusual sweets and beautiful clocks and mirrors. It's bigger than you would think. Garden furniture, garden tools, bird things, and the list goes on. It has an equally big outside of plants and trees. The restaurant is lovely also. It has a great menu with lots of choice. You can sit inside and outside if you are brave. The staff are friendly and helpful. The toilets are tidy and clean. It is very accessible and I feel sure it is wheelchair friendly. If you can't get in of the front door, there are numerous others. There is a good-sized car park. I think that is everything I can think off. I highly recommend a day trip here.
Limited stock, thought it would have a larger outside plant area, although good specimens.
Cafe small, menu looks like it's been through the washing machine, very tatty and items not available but have not been taken off. Food ok, simple, ample salad as accomliment, bit of lettuce tomato, nothing much.
Disappointed.
I just love coming to this center to get my bits for the garden. Wonderful selection of products to dress out the interior of your house too. Plus a wonderful small cafe'. Don't go to Saddleworth without checking this out. 🙏💕
We went today to the cafe and garden centre. The food was lovely and round the garden was great. The ladies toilets were a disgrace I had to clean the seat and the toilet. The other toilet was worse I closed the door. Another Lady came in I told her not to use that toilet. Then I went to pay desk told the young girl who just looked at me as if I was an alien.all I wanted her to get
a cleaner in there.
Best selection of plants and presentation for miles around. Great choice of ceramic pots and most at 1/2 price or just good price. Staff helpful, cafe/restaurant with good coffee and cake and hot meals. Now I have discovered Newbank I will make it my regular garden centre.
Nice cafe selling hot food, drinks and cakes, a great spot for lunch or nibbles! Plants aren't the cheapest, but are good quality. A good selection of gifts and nic-nacks available too.
Good choice of plants gifts and Christmas decoration we had lunch there in remembrance of my dad we also had lunch which was very nice and very reasonably priced a lovely afternoon
Nice suntrap outside, we were on a bike ride and made a scheduled stop for lunch. I recommend the high tea, choice of tea or coffee, any sandwich and a scone with cream and jam for around £8. Went back nearly a year on and had another high tea was very nice and the scone was delish
