Staff lovely,couldn't b more helpful. Food very very overcooked. A few customers had sent back. We had fish &chips. Very dry crumbly, batter not edible. Chips nice though.

Visited here for a meal with my wife and daughter on a lovely summer evening. Service was quick and the food was fabulous, the staff really friendly.
Then received a parking fine but spoke with the lovely James about PCN 12580958.

Service and staff are always exceptional. Food is well above par for a pub, and well worth the money. Delicious meals and great offers through the week.
Eat regularly at the Cumberland, great staff, great service and amazing food, however being sent an extortionate parking fine for spending time enjoying our meal after paying for parking anyway just puts me off.
Sort the parking charge out and we'll come back.

All round great experience, food has definitely improved a lot here, had the full monty mixed grill, cooked to perfection all meats were lovely, nothing was dry and my steak was cooked to my preference. Would recommend. Great value for money. Staff are nice and a lovely clean pub with fantastic outdoor seating
Well worth the money. We got 20% discount with blue light, so only paid £14 for 2 breakfasts, 2 sides of toast and 4 drinks. Very happy. I was confused by parking on arrival, as I had to pay £9, however, if you take the bottom half of the ticket to the bar, they refund you the amount off your bill. Very polite and helpful staff
Reasonably priced pub grub, 6 of us dined after hospital visits. Varied selection of meals to choose from, my own fault choosing rump steak as not my favourite cut of meat, it was ok but .. nobody had any reason to complain and drinks were decent price too. Extensive work has been carried out on beer garden since Covid. There are plenty of seating options and what appears to be an outdoor bottle bar near the entrance. Don’t forget to claim your refund on parking if that is your mode of transportation 👍
Always a nice experience at the Cumberland. Food was tasty and well presented. Children's meal was abundant and well priced.
