Very generous portions of fish & chips, the haddock is especially good. Service can be a bit slow, but then most things are cooked to order so it's a trade-off for quality. Cash only, but ATM about 100 metres away at filling station.

Quality fish & chips - been to loads over the years and this is one of the best. Always have large haddock & mrs large cod - batter is light/tasty - chips to my liking - also tried a chicken kebab and will be having another soon - highly recommended.

Absolutely spot on.
We have only ordered fish & chips with mushy peas & will eventually try their other menu items.
Fish is cooked to order, it is actually a decent sized fillet with the most tasty, flaky white fish. The batter is crispy & not at all greasy.
Their chips are lovely, tasty & are always hot & crispy on the outside & lovely & soft on the inside.
The peas are hot & taste like mushy peas should taste & not out of a tin like some shops sell.

Always amazingly delicious fish. I am particular with my fish and when it is good, I eat it all and enjoy it. We keep going back. The food does not have any surplus fat on it so we like it. Portion sizes are great, though well frequented, not a very long wait. We will be back x..

Never had a bad meal, whether it's kebab or Fish and Chips. There's a fish and chip shop just down the road but we always travel the 5miles out of our way as we know the meals are always fantastic.
The lads are always polite and welcoming. Can't recommend them high enough 👍

Very friendly staff. Fantastic food. Fish n Chips are lovely but the 3 meat kebab is to die for. The meat melts in your mouth and tastes like heavenly. Bigger portions to Epworth Grill where the prices are sky high and portions get smaller every week.

My wife and I enjoy our Friday evening fish and chips take away from Plaice 2 Be.Consistent quality,thick cod portions,tasty chips coupled with mushy peas and curry sauce plus a large sausage for our large "Goldie".
