We ordered 2 haddock on Friday night for delivery and it was dry and wasn't very nice to eat and with the price of fish theses days I expect fish to freshly cooked on ordering we think it was left under the counter too long and the lights in counter had dryer the fish out this is the second time we had fish from there might have to look else where for our fish and chips witch is a shame as they are usually bang on

We've been twice and the quality of the food was consistently very good. The chips were freshly cooked and really good. The fish was fresh and very tasty and the batter wasn't thick or stodgy. My first impression was that the place was completely clean. All the surfaces were sparkling . This will now be our regular place for a quick lunch. The staff on both occasions were helpful and friendly. We were very impressed.

Great variety of choice on the menu and especially love the scraps! Can also give a big thumbs up from our cat Arthur who managed to nick an entire battered sausage and ate the whole thing!

Best chippy in Askern imo very nice, good portion most of the time depends on the server ,each to the own ,I find lightly batterd fish better just mo , and order every week from there at least once

Awesome service as ordered by mistake and lovely man gave me a refund which I didn't expect or deserve. Would definitely use if in Doncaster.

Absolutely lovely fish and chips here we never go anywhere else now..however it is recomended not ordering too late if wanting anything like sausages as you may get what's left in cabinet warmed up

The staff are really nice, helpful and will go out of their way to make you what you want.
Their cod is very nice and you get more than enough of everything to fill even a good sized belly like mine.
