Pretty good visit, food and drink was decent value and no complaints. The sizzler mixed grill and ribs and pork belly (gammon style) had no real negatives but in the same breathe the menu has nothing much to make us rush back. Sat near the back carpark door, it's looking a little tired back there
I’ve eaten here the last two nights while the 40% offer has been on and had two great meals. Over the last two nights I have been served by Jen, Lorraine, Anita and Jess and they have really gone above and beyond despite being rushed off their feet to offer the best service. Fab food and value for money. Will come again but they just need more hands.
They seem short staffed. Lots of dirty glasses on the bar and it seemed that there was only one bar staff and one waitress. They were both rushed off their feet. They need further help. Prob only one other person.
Food was great and delivered quickly. Staff were very professional and service couldn't have been better.
As to improvement the premises could do with a revamp looking tired both inside and out. Smartening up the exterior could entice more potential customers.
It was a really busy night lastnight and so a few mistakes made with the food but Anita the waitress went above and beyond to sort everything out. She was ran off of her feet and still served with a smile. Lovely service from this waitress.

Such great staff, they were able to sort out a pasta dish for my daughter that she really wanted and the service was fantastic. The food was hot and well made and we had a very enjoyable meal after a busy day. Nice cocktails too.

However, seemed to wait a lifetime to be served at the bar (somebody trying to find some voucher on their phone I think) would have made sense to serve other people straight away while the customer looked for their vo

Great pub who made us so welcome after travelling up from Portsmouth and arriving at 09:30. Doors opened at 10 and we were welcomed in for breakfast.
