Hokkien Mee was good, the laksa was good too bit a bit spicy for me. Char kway tiao was not bad. The oysters omelette is not the Singapore style, more like pancake style but not too bad. Ba cho mee so so. Not enough vinegar.

Really proper and authentic Malaysian/Singaporean food.
It is also really good value for money - the portion size is really good considering the reasonable price you pay.
For more specialised dishes such as crabs and other more unique items we were advised to call a few days in advance just to ensure availability which is fair enough.
In doing so we were able to ensure that we could enjoy a really good feed!

Being a yam ring fanatic, I was excited to try another version of it, this time from good ol’ Malaya Inn. Even though it has lost some of it’s shine, it’s still a restaurant that’s near and dear to my heart.
I had the yam ring, oyster omelette and salt n pepper calamari. The yam ring was nice and crispy with a lovely filling. Unfortunately the oysters in the omelette were small and not very fresh. The calamari was delicious. It was fried well and had a nice savoury flavour.
Definitely worth a visit.

Malaya Inn, Doncaster, great Singapore food like Chai Tow Kway, Loh Bak and Or Chien authentic delicacies to enjoy, Albert, Venny and auntie will provide you with great local Singapore food and service.
One of the most authentic Singapore Chilli Crab dish in Melbourne, with spicy delicious sauce to remind you of Singapore back home and crunchy Oyster Omelette with very authentic chilli sauce to match. Highly recommend.

Ordered fried rice and curry puff.
I think the chef forget to add salt to the fried rice, it’s tasteless.
Fried rice - 2/5
Curry puff - 2/5

Worth to try. They are in the same shopping centre as Ampang. They serve some different types of food. The service was excellent, clean and not to crowded. Reasonable price and delicious too.

I have friends from Werribe and they wanted something to remind them of some good hawkers delights, a place to catch up and this is the place!! Venny will recommend dishes to suit your taste.... and also the many different types of Nyona cakes to take away for tea....
