King Jade Chinese Restaurant

We used to come to King’s jade very often until they changed hands few time in last few years. We happen to be in the area today and needed to have a quick lunch. We ordered the roast pork and duck dry noodles. Both turned out to be delicious. Beside the usual Chinese restaurant service, King’s Jade is now back to our local restaurant list.

Eaten here many times, one of the many small restaurants in Doncaster. Fairly basic decor with an Asian flavour. Typical Chinese restaurant menu, Beef in black bean, chicken in black bean, pork in black bean etc. Lots of seafood choices and the food is always fresh and tasty and quickly prepared even when they are busy. Unusually they also have a counter at the front selling meat by weight: BBQ Pork, Roast Pork, Roast Duck, Chicken etc sold by weight and cut up to order into bite size pieces. We occasionally buy the ready cooked meat here as take away. Bit of rice and stir-fry vegies at home and a quick and tasty meal.

very bad customer service and no ethics. 1st time there. Ordered fried rice w no pork n the lady did not take the order properly and argued later that i did not specify that. Then she still insisted on paying for the dish (which i did), but if they have some ethics, they should not charge for the dish that i am not going to eat for religious reason. Never going there again. minus 5 star.
