The Coffee Club

Very awful experience. They didn't have bread from their food, only a single type from tiptop. We decided to change after ordering a we were not informed. Because of all the mix-up, we replaced them with the salad bowls they had in tue menu. they gave us 2 very sad salads like the picture posted. I had to ask them to add the main items already mentioned in the menu as they forgot them. Pumpkin seeds, lemon...etc. They didn't even bring us water Do not trust how the items look on their menu; you'll be surprised with what you'll get. Their coffee was not any special either. As I mentioned, it was a very awful experience.

If I could rate it a 0 I would. The worst breakfast I've ever had. This photo of the 'big breakfast' was taken after I had taken about 2 bites. The salad was very sad, no seasoning, and the spinach was a few leaves thrown on the plate without even wilting them. The gluten free bread was terrible, it was so stale and so sharp I couldn't eat it. The halloumi was so underdone and rubbery. My breakfast didn't come with eggs as listed on the menu and I had to go and ask for them. And these are the 'soft poached eggs' I got. I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

I have been to this cafe for multiple times before and it has always been great. Today however was totally different experience. Not always we get out of the house with a small child and to be able to spend time and enjoy hot coffee and food cooked by someone else. We decided to dine in - ordered 2 coffees and meals. First of all we got coffees brought to table in take away cups which we didn’t ask for - got that sorted, we stared waiting for our meals. Half an hour passed thinking where are our meals? Especially with a toddler half an hour can sometimes be very tricky when eating out. Our meals were delivered totally cold. Burger buns were rock hard and burnt, bacon and egg completely cold, however chips delivered hot. None of this just did not make any sense. We took the food back as the buns were not eatable - my friend said to me that I’m afraid I would have to go to dentist straight from here if I bit into this. No joke, it was just a joke. I get everything, but none of the staff actually had a decency to even check up on us, apologise - no one literally cared. I’ve worked in this industry for years when younger, never ever had I thought this was acceptable and definitely isn’t now. Very very disappointed and wouldn’t return.

Stopped here for a coffee. Pretty decent coffee. But I liked sitting at s table, scanning a QR symbol and having the menu appear on my phone. Ordered coffee and cheesecake. Paid on my phone and relaxed waiting for order. Order arrived but sadly, my cheesecake didn't. They replaced it with another one. Lose one point. I can see this type of system being the way of the future except It'll be voice acrivated

Just went to coffee club Doncaster and was thoroughly disappointed. Food took a long time and then somehow came out cold. Bacon was barely cooked so I guess that explains why it was cold as stone when it came out but the baked beans also felt like they had just come straight from the can. Both my dad and I had completely cold food. We took it back and they did offer to remake it but by that point we didn't have time to wait around for that. They zapped both in the microwave but given how cold the food had started that only made it barely edible. For somewhere I previously enjoyed going I won't be heading back there.

I love coming here with my family when we feel hungry after shopping and spontaneously decide to eat out. My fam is very fussy, so we love the variety of the coffee clubs menu - there’s something for everyone 😊. Also a bonus that they have a great kids menu, definitely a perfect place go dine at if you have children

The worst breakfast we've ever had. The filthy coffee mug that arrived was an ominous warning for what was to come. The toast was so cold and hard it all but shattered when I cut into it. The (cold) pulled beef tasted like it was 3 days old and the fritter was so doughy it was almost inedible. As another reviewer stated, the food looks nothing like the images on the menu; not to mention the waiters walking around like they've been forced into labour. I can't stress how subpar this restaurant is. Avoid at all costs.
