Myra's Kaiseki - Dorchester - Photo album

Our first meal at Myra's last night. Fabulous dinner, good service and a lovely atmosphere. The sharing starter was a triumph and the desserts divine. Great to have a bottle of Langham Estate wine to accompany and I'm told the cocktail was exceptional. I cannot recommend enough and look forward to r
Spent a wonderful Saturday evening at Myra's. This was our first visit to a Japanese restaurant in 35 years and it led me to ask why we had left it so long. We decided to have the tasting menu and were delighted. The food is delicious- Myra delivers fantastic flavours dish after dish, and this is ba
Always wanted to visit and we weren't disappointed. The food was great - had the taste menu, great selection. The chicken skewer was a little dry for me but edible. Sadly I froze as I sat next to the door.
Exquisite! Very personalised service, I haven't found at any other eatery. Beautifully presented & delicious food. Large range of Sake, cocktails, wines & mocktails.Sushi, crab & tempura starters. Mains including Raman, noodles, rice, seafood, meat & vegetarian dishes. The desserts are just divine.
Had a superb tasting menu. Full of flavour and not too much. Nice and relaxed. You definitely need to eat here
Visited for a birthday, delicious food (we recommend the duck or salmon main, see photos). Pricey, but if you can shallow it, definitely worth the experience. Lovely server who gave the good lady a rose for her birthday as we left. I best watch out!
We enjoyed all of the meals, from starters till dessert! Loved the sushi and sashimi.đź’– The servers were attentive and warm to their guests. Will definitely come back.
We came here for our wedding anniversary and had a great experience. Great food, attentive service, good atmosphere. On a wet and windy summer’s evening, it was doing a busy trade which shows the deserved reputation of the restaurant
Just had a fab time for my daughters 18th birthday. They had decorate the table and even gave her a traditional Japanese gift when we left perfect! We had the tasting menu and couldn’t rate it highly enough from the Miso soup to the wagyu beef.
Amazing food and would highly reccomend the taster menu. The owners were very welcoming and talked us through the menu in detail..Best sushi we have ever had.
I love this place. Second time visiting and they've maintained an excellent service with stellar food. I implore anyone to try their cocktails and deserts. Treat yourself. You won't be disappointed.
Had a lovely dining experience, first trip here and all the reviews are correct! A hidden gem. Our waitress was really good and the food matched! Great sushi and the kids enjoyed their meal too. I ordered the beef fillet, wife ordered the miso salmon. Can not fault it at all! Thank you
Just some spectacular Japanese food, the fish is incredibly fresh and delicate, the black cod is so perfect it falls apart and the soya yuzu is perfect with the rice. The plum sake is sweet and delicious, as is the pistachio dessert, if you can manage it. The front of house is the kind and knowledge
Excellent food. The Sushi in particular was fantastic, although I think I would have happily enjoyed everything on the menu. The gentlemen who served us was very professional and took the time to give me and my friends recommendations. On his advice me and one of my friends shared two of the mixed
This is an absolute gem. We have been wanting to go here for ages and finally managed to get there tonight. The food was beautiful, flavoursome and good value. Service was second to none, attentive and very efficient, all with a smile. It was obvious to us that the staff were exceptionally passiona
Wow! Extra helpful staff and fresh food that melts in your mouth. Congratulations to the team and especially to the man that greeted us and gave us some advice. Not cheap but I have paid the same amount or more for average dinners. Today it was £152 for two but that’s what I call well spent money!
Superb restaurant. Very helpful staff and food was to die for. Love it, will be back
Had a lovely meal of the mixed sushi and izakaya sharing platter and a nice warm sake. Service and ambience was excellent. Will come again!
A very good and relaxed fine dining experience, you can come in formal dress or in casual scruffs and be perfectly fine. The food is prepared and presented excelently. The drink selection is small but high quality and suited to the meals. Atmosphere is relaxed, with soft jazz being played quietly
