Absolutly brilliant pub! The owners and staff couldn’t have been more friendly! It’s been along time since I’ve been to a pub where I’ve loved the food and the atmosphere but this place had it all The food was delicious and really reasonably priced. They had a good gin selection. The pub and toilets were really clean. They even let us stay in our camper over night which was really kind of them. We have definitely found a new favourite pub and we can’t wait to come back again! We will become regular visitors for sure!

We received a very warm welcome from the owners in this quaint, well maintained country pub. The food was excellent. The chorizo & mushroom tagliatelle was superb as was the Thai green chicken curry and steak & stilton pie. The best pub we have visited in Dorset and we cannot wait to go again.

Received a genuine warm welcome at the bar on arrival, this continued with the same great service from all staff during our visit. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic, everything fresh and cooked beautifully. Generous portions of everything too. Really deserves the five star rating. Nothing to fault the team have cracked the art of customer service and brilliant food. Now we found you we will be back!!! Thank you.

This is a great typical cosy Country pub with fabulous food and outstanding service. There is ample parking and has a picturesque beer garden for the summer months. I certainly will be revisiting this little gem again...!

What a lovely pub. Staff were just perfect, the food was outstanding and the beer was glorious. The lamb roast and a pint of Palmers Copper was just what I needed on a Sunday afternoon in the Dorset countryside. Full marks to the landlord and his team.

Lovely rural pub for lunch. Beautiful peaceful garden area and very comfortable inside as well. We cycled there and easy to park bikes securely. Food excellent and good value. Lots of vegetarian options. Tasty well kept ale from the barrel. Thank you

We had Sunday lunch at The Brewers Arms today. The food was excellent. Well seasoned, a wonderful array of vegetables which were cooked to perfection. Cauliflower and broccoli cheese was very tasty. We'll definitely visit next time we're in the area.

We were on holiday locally and had booked for an evening meal for 4 people, only intended to have one evening meal. We (all 4 of our party) enjoyed the service and food very much, so we booked for a further 2 evenings. Great food, great service, and pleasant atmosphere. We will have this place on our list next time we are in the area.

We were bought a voucher for a meal here.We decided to have Sunday Lunch today....we were not disappointed. We had looked at the menu online so knew what we were going to order however when we got there the menu was slightly different. When the lady asked what we would like I explained my husband need a few more minutes to choose because the menu in front of us didn't have what he had chosen. The lady then offered my husband exactly what he had seen on the website without us even telling her his choice. She also offered him the choice of veg or chips( she gave him both!)The meal was fabulous, hot and tasted amazing. We were so full we had to say no to pudding lol. We will definitely be back..the food and customer service was fabulous...Thank you x

Came here by chance and don't regret it- it was honestly amazing! The staff were really friendly and the food was amazing (special shout-out to the espresso martini, honestly the best I've ever had) if you're in the village, be sure to stop by- really good value too and amazing portions. They're very good with allergies and can't recommend them enough

Absolutely loved my visit here, was met with such a positive and welcoming reception from staff. Was served by a lovely waitress named kitty who was incredibly helpful, she gave me the best recommendation of a steak and Stilton pie with some mash and honestly it was unbelievable. Brilliant portion sizes which suit the prices quite well, will definitely be coming back as I had a lovely day eating and drinking in the beautiful weather outside.

Came here 2 nights on the bounce and it got better the second time. The burger was excellent and the ribs were possibly the best I have ever seen. Service was also very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Went as wanted a nice lunch, was not disappointed. The young male staff member was honestly wonderful, a real credit to the establishment. The food was lovely and fairly prices for the quality and the portion.

Great free house in a pretty little village, walking distance from Dorchester or worth the short drive. Food is exceptional and the real ales are varied and updated all the time. The kitchen closes at 2 and the pub shuts at 3 at the moment (it opens again in the evening) so not a place to spend all afternoon in but the beer garden is beautiful and so this is becoming one of our favourites 🥰
