So grateful to Linda for all the love and support, not to mention fabulous food, she has provided my Mum and Stepdad whilst they were living together in Poundbury and as they got less mobile and more reliant on outside help. There's a lovely atmosphere and a mix of people. A very special place and a pillar of the community.
And they make excellent sandwiches. I've only tried one cake but it was properly good.

This is a cheerful venue. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food is very good. We have had breakfast and Sunday roast. Both fully recommended.

Absolutely divine Sunday roast at the Octagon cafe. Choice of 3 meats, lots of veg, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, yorkshire…too much to eat!
Excuse the lack of gravy in photo, that was my choice as I have never liked gravy!!

A brilliant gem of a café. With a concise but well carried out menu and plenty of cake!
The staff are very friendly and relaxed which makes the whole experience that much nicer. The Bakewell is the best around!

I just want to thank these wonderful ladies for all the work they put in to make us afternoon teas for our wedding. They really listened to what we wanted and catered for all dietary needs. They were always on hand to answer any questions, even through the lockdown. The food was scrumptious and went down a storm with our guests. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you so much ❤
