I can't recommend Joey's Family Food highly enough! Have ordered twice now - once for delivery and more recently collection in-store. On both occasions the orders were processed quickly and communication was excellent. Packaging really good so the food stayed frozen. Simple and clear heating instructions (and every meal has heated perfectly each time). We have ordered the mini size for our 16 month old and the portion size is great. The food itself is excellent - good quality ingredients, full of flavour and nutritious. The range of meals is impressive with plenty of options to choose from and I like having the choice of ordering a selection box or individual meals. I still prepare meals from scratch but having a stock of Joey's meal in the freezer has made a huge difference. We've found it especially useful when we have grandparents visiting as they can easily prepare a nutritious meal. Also a great option when visiting other people or on holiday. Thank you Joey's!
I was on holiday in Dorset and was just passing by Joey's, and we ended up reading all the details in the window. We are currently weening our 8 month old. We went in and got talking to the owner and received a lovely welcome. We ended up buying a few meals. One was a carrot and sweetcorn pancake and a pasta dish. After cooking both the meals, they were fantastic.
If they did an adult portion of those vegetable pancakes, I would eat them. They smelt and tasted amazing. The pasta dish was also great. We will definitely be putting in an order as soon as we get home. Good luck with this venture. it's a fantastic idea. Highly recommended!
We love joeys family food. It’s perfect for weaning our 10 month old, with the many range of textures and flavours on offer to broaden his palette. It’s convenient, healthy, and full of flavour. We live in Brighton and receive our food via post and it’s still frozen upon arrival. Keep up the great work Libby and Owen.
Libby is amazing she caters to my sons gluten and dairy allergy and has loads of different meals. I would’ve never thought to give my 1 year old olives but he loved them in his risotto. Joeys has gone out of their way to make food accessible to most allergies. They have vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian and omnivore meals available too. I cannot rave about joeys enough they have made weaning and just generally ensuring my son gets a well rounded meal at dinner time so much easier. I found my son was getting the same things rotated over and over when I made them but with joeys I don’t have to worry about him getting bored.
