Buckland Village Store

I called in for the first time yesterday morning after swimming in the lake. What a wonderful deli this is. I had the best baguette ever! I asked for an avocado, salad and chilli jam. It wasn’t on the menu but told that it was no bother for them to make. The bread was so fresh and every ingredient inside that baguette was fabulous. The shop has a lovely selection of cards, cakes, deli items etc etc I will definitely be back. The young lady who served me was so lovely and had the biggest smile. Really made my morning. Thank you so much 🥰

Ermmm... that there isn't a button for 9 out of 5 stars is infuriating 😁 What a great find. We were having a drink in neighbouring Betchworth when I suddenly fancied a lunchtime sandwich as opposed to a heavy pub lunch so we headed to Buckland and found this deli. The two ladies serving were so full of kindness and smiles. And my BLT sandwich (with an added avocado) was AMAZING. I think we will make more of these occasional trips from London just for the lovely experience here! Thank you!

Accidentally stumbled upon this deli today - what a brilliant find. The food was really generous and freshly cooked, and served with a smile by really friendly staff. The little garden at the back was so gorgeous, though sadly I had to dash as the AA man had arrived to help me out! Will definitely be back!

Perhaps not as elegant as the name might suggest but the care in delivering our tea and coffee in China cups in the cute little garden made-up for it in spades. Judging by the queue for hand made toasties and sandwiches it is very popular. A further visit to check out the toasties is definitely on the cards. There is also a very good selection of greetings cards. Not a regular find.
