While visiting Scotland we met very kind people. The staff at this quaint hotel tops the list of thoughtful people. My daughter and I arrived at midnight with a tow truck. They were right outside helping with the car and carried luggage to the room. The next day a nice young man drove us to pick up the repaired car.
The breakfast is delicious. The setting is lovely and walking distance to the castle.
I ate at the restaurant of this hotel while staying nearby.
The food was fantastic, one of the best meals I had on my NC500 trip. The staff were friendly and attentive, thank you!
They were very hospitable, and the food was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The ladies who served us were very kind and took particular care in feeding the two wee children with us very quickly.
I was passing in this very small town during a road trip, on a Thursday morning, and just asked if I could stop to get breakfast here. I was not a guest at this hotel but nonetheless I have been very warmly welcomed by the hostess. The full Scottish breakfast was delicious and the service particularly friendly! I am sure this is a great hotel to sleep in.
Nice place under renovation. Was sold ensuite room but given room with shared facilities. Wing was quiet but could have been a pain. Pub next door great atmosphere and food. Great location if you want to visit Plockton (quaintest place in the UK), Sky bridge area. The Dorrie is a little gem.
Near to the famous Eilean Donan Castle. Cozy room and nice service. Arranged me a table in the nearby restaurant although it was booked out.
Stayed for a wedding at the castle. What a welcome and evening meal. Rooms comfy and function though not luxurious the owners couldn’t do enough to make sure of our comfort Breatfast amazing. Thank you so much for our stay xx
Felt like a nice little family business with decent food
Was up here on business and stayed for three nights such a warm friendly welcoming from Jenn on arrival. Admittedly this wee place is work in progress as they have not long taken over but Rome wasn’t built in a day and the work done so far has made a difference. Spotlessly clean spacious bedrooms fantastic Breakfast great views winning formula in my eyes big thanks to all the family for a lovely stay.
Called in without a reservation and with our four-legged friend in tow after being turned away by the pub a few metres away. We were warmly greeted by the barman and offered a table straightway. Limited menu but what was offered was perfect. Within no time at all the food arrived. Both meals were delicious and very filling. Would call again.
Delicious evening meal and good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Fantastic location right on the water just 5 mins walk from Eilean Donan castle. The hotel is very gloomy especially in corridors, decor is very dated, and shower not brilliant, but not that bad that I wouldn't stay again. On the whole, we were happy.
Had a continental breakfast here. A little overpriced at £15 per person and the waitresses started clearing the tables quickly. They only had small plates so you needed to make multiple trips up to the table.
Had a lovely view outside.
Despite being overpriced, the breakfast tasted lovely and fillede up for half of the day.
Really loved the artwork on the walls.
The toilets seemed clean but need a little touching up as the skirting boards had holes in them...but that's me being picky.
5 star meal in the restaurant. Big portions, super fresh and obviously homemade. Would come again. Strongly recommended after a day visit to Skye!
Great stay at the Dornie Hotel, in a quiet room with great bedding. I did not have dinner there but breakfast was excellent. Jade and Neil were super friendly and accommodating -thank you both for your kindness towards a drenched cyclist. Highly recommend !
They managed to squeeze us in this evening, the food was lovely, and catered for the vegan in our party. The staff were very friendly.
The only downside was we were not offered a sweet, but to be honest, we were full from the starter and main course.
