Having stayed in the Tain area for a week is was rather hard to find good food places so Luigi came as a very nice surprise. The staff were very polite, food was good and the entire family loved it. They even accomodated for us to stay for lunch when arriving at 14:00 though they close at 14:30. Very good place. Well happy

The food is great and the service is too notch. The staff is very friendly and knows how to make their customers feel appreciated. This is the hallmark of great customer service. Thanks for the hospitality from a customer from California.

Stopped in on spec. No tables available inside so we sat outside. The lobster thermidor was delicious. The chunky chips looked good but why would an establishment like this think that frozen chips were acceptable?

Lovely little place in Dornoch. Friendly staff and well looked after. Start with Tempura squid - was awesome. Squid was cooked perfectly. We then had the crab cakes and a burger (yes I know, I should have had something more Italian). Food well cooked and nicely presented

Called by for unch today as a holiday treat as I'd read good reviews, I certainly wasn't disappointed !! Mackerel Pate starter, big serving, followed by Prawn, chorizo linguine, little bit of kick but palatable.thoroughly enjoyed both. Sat outside for my latte, i went in to pay & said they'd forgot I was there as was about to close up I think 🤔 🤣🍽🍷 Friendly staff, tastefully decorated, best meal of my holiday 🌟 🤩

Sat outside on a September evening enjoying some fantastic food here. We were well looked after by Chris who always has a chat with everybody, but have to say the food is pretty damn good. Book in advance, very popular place!

The best meal we had during our 3 week trip all over Scotland. Cannot sing this place’s praises enough. The cheese soufflé was one of the best things I have ever tasted. Our starters, mains and desserts were all perfection.

Last night we had dinner there - as it was the jubilee weekend and we had no reservation, we couldn’t get it, but we’re lucky to get a spot outside in the sun to get some food. The dragon head beer was fantastic and as dinner there were Gnocchi on the menu. All in all a good dinner

Our favourite place to eat whilst on our NC500 tour. We prebooked for dinner which is highly recommend as it's a popular place. A nice atmosphere in the restaurant and excellent service.  A great choice on the menu and lots of specials. We chose pork belly with parsnip and piccalilli as a starter which was delicious. Tender pork belly and great flavours. Parsnip and piccalilli sounds like it wouldn't work but it so did. For mains we opted forLinguine with Scallops, prawns Chilli and garlic. Absolutely tremendous. Beautifully sweet and perfectly cooked Scallops and loads of prawns. The sauce was delicious. Usually I get bored eating a pasta dish but I didn't want this one to end.  The photos really don't do this dish justice. We added chilli flakes but this is just because I'm a chilli fan. For dessert I had one of the specials of Bread and butter pudding and ice cream. Nice crispy top and goey centre. My husband had the Sticky toffee pud which was light and very tasty. Washed down with a bottle ofMartin codax albarino wine. We loved it so much we went for lunch the next day and were lucky to take the last empty table .. where as others were turned away. Hence I repeat to book in advance. We tried their pizzas. Spanish pizza with chorizo, sun blushed toms and black olives and the Luigi pizza that comes with chicken,  sweet peppers,  rocket, red onion. Again great flavours and the base was thin but also slightly doughy but light. Perfect. We saw the cakes on the counter and were tempted so had Coffee walnut and carrot cake. Both very nice but if I'm honest the coffee cake was a little dry whereas the carrot cake was beautifully moist. Again great flavours. And there's the excellent coffee which we had black. A fantastic cup of coffee. Service again was great. Loved it here and would most definitely book again if in the Dornoch area.  Thank you!!
