Very friendly staff, many different options with beverages, they also have cold-cut sandwiches, fresh made pizza, and they're all fantastic! The sandwiches are a little expensive, but worth it!

Unknown fact that the carry-out desserts are amazingly tasty and the best found in the area. Carrot cake & strawberry shortcake are my favorites.

It was convenient. They had a solid selection of wine, beer, and spirits.
It was down to earth. People were friendly.
It had a pizza oven. A real one. Where they cooked real pizza. Not scary par-baked pizza you normally get at convenience stores.
They had 25 cent lollipops. My kids liked those a lot and it saved me from a meltdown in the store.
They had fridges. Lots of them. That kept the beer and wine cold so you can enjoy a chilled adult beverage when you return to your Airbnb.

As an employee of the Lakeshore Convenience i can honestly say i love my job working there, the Owner is awesome and takes care of her employees! I was born and raised in Douglas and have been goin to this store as long as i can remember...Tony was a hell of a man and greatly missed by many...Amy is filling those shoes very well!....love my job and my co-workers and the customers very much! So come in and check us out! Highly recommend the Pot Roast sub and the Carrot cake!

OMG the subs are amazing! The bread is so good toasted crunchy yummyness! The pot roast literally melts in your mouth. 9, yep 9 slices of bacon on a BLT!? This place is hands down freaking damngood food!

I go to this great little store almost daily.
Great staff, very friendly people.
Good beer selection and the made to order subs are fantastic. The Italian sub is my favorite and probably the best I've ever tried. Their pot roast sub is absolutely fantastic.
