Celeste has the UGLIEST attitude. No “hello” or “have a good day” just throws the bag at you and shuts the window. Went in the other day because I didn’t receive a full cup of Mac n cheese the day before and the second I walked in, she gave me an UGLY look. And, when I explained that I was told to come by and show my receipt to get a free Mac n cheese as compensation for the little amount I received the day before, I was given the same amount. Like, if you’re not going to fill the cup up, get smaller sized cups so other people won’t come by complaining!

We waited in the drive through line for over 30 minutes. When we received our food, the plate had 5 French fries. FIVE. The batter was not cooked all the way through with the fish or hush puppies. 90% of the shrimp was batter. Smallest shrimp I’ve ever seen. Also only gave us one thing of tarter sauce for two plates. And got the drinks completely wrong. I do not recommend this place at all.

Currently sitting in the restaurant, they have 3 ladies working the front and still can’t keep things together. The restaurant is currently out of baked potatoes, macaroni and cheese, fried okra, honey mustard, deviled crab, they only have one size of cups due to being out and are out of ketchup …..seriously who orders for this place?! Last time visit.

UPDATE: Be prepared to wait. Staff is short handed and the drive through orders are priority. They were out of condiments and the place was in need of a really good cleaning. Emptied cardboard containers were stacked against the wall. We didn't complain because we knew they were struggling. ORIGINAL POST from 2019. Captain D's is the happening place on Sunday's at lunch! The food is good and served with very little wait time. I honestly don't see how they do it with so many people constantly coming in. The prices are great and the quantity of food is plentiful.
