Excellent service. We were welcomed to the restaurant as we weren't guests at the hotel. The chef came and spoke to us on more than one occasion to introduce himself and to see we were enjoying our meal. The quality of the food and the presentation and the manner in which it was cooked was first class. 5 stars from us. Don't hesitate to give HQ a visit

We had dinner here last night. The standard of the food and service was exceptional. On recommendation started with the parsnip soup and blue cheese dumplings they didn’t disappoint. For the main the salmon was cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned along and presented with leeks beetroot gnocchi and capers wonderful taste sensation Can’t recommend this hidden gem strongly enough. Had the best meal with two friends last evening. We all had different food and each and all of us enjoyed every morsel. Beautifully cooked food, three courses, clean plates. Can’t praise the chef enough! Superb!! Good friendly service!
