I never ever give full marks on anything,so the fact I have awarded this gem of an Indian restaurant a full five stars is quite simple.
Service: Was efficient, friendly and prompt. The waiteress that looked after me couldn't do much more....
Food: I like my curries and I have to honestly say the dishes I had here were simply the best I've ever had. Not too much, but just enough to fill you up with presentation that is obviously of the contemporary style of Indian cuisine.
Next time I'm back here in the Isle of Man,I will definitely come here for a meal. Brilliant
We came here tonight 4 of us ,from the minute we arrived friendly honest service .the table we had was perfect ,asked for drinks we had menus & were given time to choose, we had starters mains &,drinks ,very cosy restaurant & food was out of this world, beautiful sized portions, hot & tasty dishes ,we then sat back chatting & we had a wonderful evening. My son and I had heard of Flavours before we arrived on the Isle of Man, and as veterans of dozens of Indian restaurants in south and east London, this was hands down the best. Hope to go again before flying out
I would definitely say its hard to authentic Indian food in London as well bht having this type of proper Indian restaurant in IOM is blessing.
Great food , proper India taste.
Portion size of Sides is equal to main dish.
Garlic naan was awesome and tadka taal.
Lovely food , pleasant friendly staff. The only thing that was difficult was going up and down the stairs to go the toilet. ££ . Yes would go back .
It's hard to find an Indian restaurant in IOM and when I had my dinner for first time here, I decided my all week dinner is going to be great here and every month I travel to IOM, my entire week dinner is at this place, I love the food, service and people. Appreciate it and keep your smile always with the great Indian taste. Thanks.
For a Monday night it was quiet as expected , but we were greeted with a friendly welcome from the waitress . We ordered our drinks , which arrived quickly while we perused the menu. The mains menu wasn't as extensive as we were used to , but we both found dishes that we liked along with obligatory poppadoms and dips.
Well , as seasoned curry lovers we weren't disappointed . Both dishes were cooked to perfection and enjoyed immensely. I have to say they were among the best curries we have had ever . Do not hesitate to book or call in , you will not be disappointed.
I had a really delicious meal here. The nan, bhaji and Kashmir curry were flawless and I will definitely return here at some point.
Absolutely amazing food top quality desserts
Blue cheese nan bread is delicious
Whilst in Douglas on business and following a shocking meal (the Beef Stroganoff) on my first night at the large lemon-coloured hotel where I was staying (you know the one....it's on the same side the road, just a few metres down from Flavours towards the promenade), I decided to see what was available nearby. I was greeted by a very smiley and welcoming lady called Stefanie who found me a seat and initially furnished me with a menu and a drink. I ordered a starter and a main course, both were fantastic and with a real depth of flavour. The whole experience was perfect from the service to the meal. I know where I'll be dining on the first night of my next visit to the island!
