Kendall Pond Pizza Ii

Now I'm not a big Pizza eater, but this place is great! Their subs, great! Their pizza, great! But what really turnd me onto them was their calzones. I personally despise calzones, and one day my brother gave me a bite of his from Kendall Pond Pizza and I ended up eating half of it, and only half (those things are filling, and HUGE). Now I can agree that their prices are a bit steep, but the quality is there. The workers are constantly busy, yet they still find the time to be kind and helpful. Overall would recommend, and DEFINITELY try their chicken parm Calzones🤤

In order to be transparent, I will start by saying my daughter works at KPII. BUT before you assume my review is tainted, rest assured food is my jam, and I refuse to recommend any place if the food or hospitality doesn't meet the expectations. I've had a few pizzas from here (pepperoni, cheese, vegetarian, bacon and onion, Blanco, Blanco bacon and onion, Blanco with mushrooms) as well as onion rings and fries, and have legit NOT had a single bad bite of food. I am admittedly simple minded when it comes to pizzas- and my favorite is a plain old cheese and KPPII doesn't let me down there specifically! Super aromatic and yummy as all get out. The vegetarian has oodles of veggies and is topped with herbs. SO good in general and particularly as leftovers. My other half legitimately gave me a single slice of the Blanco pizza with bacon and onions and ate the rest of the damn thing himself! Not only is the food delicious, but the store atmosphere is clean, classy and a super comfortable place to dine in, if you so choose. Much better than expected from what appears to be a little storefront in a plaza. I'd continue to grab pies from KPPII if Kaylee no longer worked there, and I think that's saying something considering we live nearly an hour away 😀

Nice location in Dover definitely a good place to go out for a few beers. Or bring the family nice environment. I would just recommend adding a little more sauce. Pizza was still very good. Went to a competitor they practically pushed me out the door. If we come back to do work in the area will probably come back to you.

The food is absolutely delicious. But one of the employees (I think he may be the manager) will argue with the customers and make them feel that they don't know what they are talking about. This will not stop me from ordering food here. He has done this to me twice. But the manager should get retrained on how to deal with customers. I noticed other reviews mentioned problems with the manager. He is definitely not a people person. Then they wonder why no one applies for a job there.
