Castle Take-away - Dover - Photo album

Decided to try a fish & chips place that had more of a local feel and not in the "tourist" areas. When we came to the restaurant, there was a line up waiting for their food. We knew that this was going to be great. Had the cod & chips with mushy peas and curry sauce. It did not disappoint! I hi
Great customer service and freshly made meals. I went for the old faithful fish & chips - it was amazing. You have the option to salt your meal (perfect for those who need low sodium meals).
𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵, 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 Super friendly service. The fish is freshly prepared after the order. Therefore, you must wait a few minutes, but the taste is excellent. The fries are, unfortunately, a bit boring. But better this way than the other way around. Prices are also very fair.
Superior chips most visits. Good batter on fresh fish. It's a chip shop but manages to do better than a lot of restaurants in terms of quality. Fresh chips that haven't been frozen perhaps? I like the people as well and now go out of my way to frequent there. The rest of the menu is standard for a
This place is great!!! It is only take away but I’m willing to bet that they serve best fish in all of the UK. The service is impeccable and the staff is so professional. I highly recommend this place.
Good quality fish and chips and friendly service from the lady serving.I always visit when in Kent and enjoy eating on the outside tables. In my opinion this is the best available and good value too!
Best Fish & Chip shop in Dover.
Clean, tasty food and very friendly staff. We visited this fish and chips shop whilst in Dover. The staff greeted us and we felt very welcomed. The fish menu is quite well and we ended up being recommended the cod. We had a large cod and chips and a battered sausage and chips. The fish and batte
Super friendly service from the young lady at the register and the best Fish&Chips in Kent
Big Ste and Ox recommended this takeaway to me. Me and my mate Troy came all the way from Barnsley to partake. I must say it's the best fish and chips I've ever had.
Oh my goodness. What a find. I had the best fish and chips I've ever had here tonight. Seats; while limited, are available to eat in which is handy or on the street if you'd prefer. Might I also add that the staff serving where polite and friendly. There seemed to be a steady stream of regular
Just called, without doubt the best fish and chips I have ever had. The batter on the fish was superb. My mate Ox who I travelled with loved his as well
Proper traditional ‘Chippy’ in the shadow of Dover castle. The food was exactly what you would expect (although the curry sauce could be a little more like curry and less like gravy) That said, the chips were great as was the fish and the pies.
I attended this restaurant a number of weeks ago and I am still telling people about how crisps and light the batter was on the fish. This is without question one of the best portions of fish and chips I have had in a long time. Watch out Captain Birdseye there is a new kid on the block!!!!!
