Decided to try a fish & chips place that had more of a local feel and not in the "tourist" areas. When we came to the restaurant, there was a line up waiting for their food. We knew that this was going to be great. Had the cod & chips with mushy peas and curry sauce. It did not disappoint! I highly recommend coming here for proper fish & chips. It was absolutely delicious.

Great customer service and freshly made meals. I went for the old faithful fish & chips - it was amazing. You have the option to salt your meal (perfect for those who need low sodium meals).

Super friendly service. The fish is freshly prepared after the order. Therefore, you must wait a few minutes, but the taste is excellent. The fries are, unfortunately, a bit boring. But better this way than the other way around. Prices are also very fair.

Superior chips most visits. Good batter on fresh fish. It's a chip shop but manages to do better than a lot of restaurants in terms of quality. Fresh chips that haven't been frozen perhaps? I like the people as well and now go out of my way to frequent there.
The rest of the menu is standard for a chip shop. Burgers are cooked to order and tasty. I wish they did a pricier burger, I'd pay more for the superior quality meat.

This place is great!!! It is only take away but I’m willing to bet that they serve best fish in all of the UK. The service is impeccable and the staff is so professional. I highly recommend this place.

Clean, tasty food and very friendly staff.
We visited this fish and chips shop whilst in Dover. The staff greeted us and we felt very welcomed.
The fish menu is quite well and we ended up being recommended the cod.
We had a large cod and chips and a battered sausage and chips.
The fish and battered sausage was really tasty. We would recommend this place to everyone.
The chips could be improved but in general was a really good experience.

Oh my goodness. What a find. I had the best fish and chips I've ever had here tonight. Seats; while limited, are available to eat in which is handy or on the street if you'd prefer. Might I also add that the staff serving where polite and friendly. There seemed to be a steady stream of regular customers too which was very nice to see.

Proper traditional ‘Chippy’ in the shadow of Dover castle. The food was exactly what you would expect (although the curry sauce could be a little more like curry and less like gravy) That said, the chips were great as was the fish and the pies.

I attended this restaurant a number of weeks ago and I am still telling people about how crisps and light the batter was on the fish. This is without question one of the best portions of fish and chips I have had in a long time. Watch out Captain Birdseye there is a new kid on the block!!!!!
