Came for Sunday lunch certainly wasn’t disappointed. Great service lovely tender meat and fresh vegetables good value for money. The only reason I’ve given a 4 not a five star rating the roast potatoes were disappointing frozen potatoes with fresh veg very soggy not crispy. But would come again
Really quiet & peaceful. Good service & good food! To me, I was spoilt for choice over the menu!! Left booking a table last minute & arrived earlier than expected for booking. Despite early arrival, very accommodating (may be something to do with the pub being quiet!!). Very pleased with the service
August Bank Holiday we were in the area and we had been in before. Not a lot going on one lady behind the bar and a few drinking in the bar. The staff also made us feel welcomed. The staff were lovely food was outstanding. We ordered I got our food very quick with in 20 minutes. Nothing was to much trouble. Love the whole experience. The dessert was outstanding.
We only went in as it was local to friends after a funeral. The place has changed since I was last there in 1979 :)

Entered the restaurant and saw it to be quiet and was shown to our seats. And the food was done quickly and was very nice.
I’ve been before and always found the staff very nice. The food is always hot ( although my steak was more medium to well instead of rare) and very tasty. Good selection of drinks available . All areas are clean . Will definitely come again
