We frequently drop in to The Ship for the joys of sitting on the riverbank in the sunshine and watching the boats go by with a pint in hand. We have always found it good, though it can be rammed.

Really impressed, we asked if we could bring the little dog in, that was fine. We had the over 60 special, excellent value and really nice. We shall certainly be back next time we are out on the boat, a perfect spot , lovely friendly staff that made us feel very welcome.

Superb lunch there after stopping off earlier today. Impressed with a very friendly and dedicated team. We had the beef pie and by goodness, it was good!
