A lovely pub, welcoming of dogs and children. Great service. Yummy food and good portions for the money. Would have loved to have visited again but our holiday was cut unexpectedly short.
Great place very friendly village pub with good food
The pub had a really warm and welcoming feel to it We had the carvery which was served by really friendly staff. The food was good and the hospitality was even better. We brought our small dog along and she enjoyed the environment too. The pool table was 50p a go which kept us entertained for a long time. We will definitely be coming back soon 😁

Had a Sunday roast. With cauliflower and a cheese sauce which you could taste had cheese in it!! Brilliant. Dropped one only because of the parking
Family friendly pub with themed food and entertainment nights.
Didn't go in the pub, instead we walked down the Riverside. Lovely hot day, saw Deer, one with a youngster, watched them for at least an hour. Loads of friendly Ducks and chatted with even friendlier boat owners. Seems they are all stinking rich and love to get wasted on their boats in a heatwave. I am jealous. I want a boat. Football was on but pub was empty.
Very friendly staff, lovely family atmosphere, put cartoons on the TV for the kids to watch and happy to let them play, had a really nice roast dinner and fantastic apple crumble just like your mum would make. All in all a lovely afternoon at amazing prices

Friendly locals in a drinkers pub. (No food was being served when we visited on a Saturday evening, so we ate lots of pork scratchings). Good pint of wherry. Fun pub quiz.
