Had Sunday lunch at this restaurant/pub today what a great place! Good food excellent atmosphere with great staff very accommodating and friendly! We will definitely be returning! Highly recommend if you like fresh homemade food with fantastic presentation!
Had a lovely meal yesterday early evening with my Mum and husband. Food was gorgeous Mum had the lamb, my husband had the caesar salad and he was asked if he would like anchovies as not everyone does
and I had the ploughman's which was huge . We thought the food was excellent value. Lovely helpful
Lunchtime visit on a sunny autumn day. Beautiful setting, historic feel to the village and this lovely country Inn. Very nice varied menu with specials available. I had the very tasty ham hock with crispy hens egg. My wife enjoyed the mussels followed by the nocchie pasta, my main was the steak pie.

Sat next to 3 miserable, middle aged women with 2 dogs who wolfed their meal down but split their bill 3 ways to £12.63 with no tip because their order had been inadvertently missed and the staff didn't "apologise enough" I had to sit on my own hands and clamp my own lips bet

Sunday roast was good but the carrots were - puried - not mashed- far too sloppy. The salty fries were processed frozen food type. Sha

A super pub/hotel in the prettiest of places. The restaurant and bar are homely. The food is really REALLY good. The menu is varied. We stayed for Two nights and can’t wait to go back.
