The Swan Inn - Draycott in the Clay - Photo album

We noticed this place from driving past stating about their pies. Went for dinner today and I must admit they didn't disappoint. Car park was a little busy but there's a farm shop right next to it and most seemed to be visiting there. There were two disabled parking bays. The front door opens wide e
Called in on a Tuesday during the school holidays after visiting a local national trust site. Bar was full, but the restaurant and conservatory still had seats for the 3+1 of us. A high chair was brought over for the baby. We had the steak and tuna subs and the children's sausages. we didn't have to
Food was brill quality food at a good price nice service
First time to visit The Swan and the four of us ordered 4 different mains and four different puddings. As we walked in 7 people were leaving because they couldn't get a table!! I wondered why as the Swan wasn't really busy. 30 minute later I could understand because they were so busy with most table
I’ve driven past the shop a 101 times and always see the number 1 pie sign. I had the steak and ale which the bar staff said was her sons favourite. I can honestly say the pie was class. I’ve got 2 more flavours to try with the missus, very impressed🙂, will get more on the drive past
Went last night with a party of 8. Impeccable service, absolutely amazing food. Portions are huge. Timing spot on all food arrived together. Friendly and helpful staff. There was also a party of 20 at the same time as us. And nobody could fault the service. There was a live band on also. Wow...what
What a fantastic group of people had meal here 02/10/23 food was beautiful and so was the barmaid
Great atmosphere, lovely outdoor area to sit, plenty of tables and space, park close by for kids to play and great selection of food and drinks
Lovely night with really good service, food could have been warmer and staff more friendly. Just seemed they weren't really enjoying their job, but nice place and had a Bingo session on which bought the people in.
Lovely Sunday dinner here today. Staff were attentive and even though it was busy, fitted us in in the bar area, lovely atmosphere with the log burner too. Out family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed the visit and will be returning to try the award winning pies.
Great traditional pub. Good selection of beers and the Sunday lunches are amazing.
The best Sunday roast for miles. Great homemade pies served everyday! Lovely staff.
Family of 5 with our dog and just popped in. Had such a lovely lunch. We all had pie but some with mash and some with chips. All of us loved the food and will be coming back soon. Very welcoming and great food and drinks too. Thank you x
We were a party of about 17 plus a one year old in a high chair. Great service and lovely food. I forgot to take the photo of my stilton and spinach pancake before I started eating it!
The food is outstanding! Excellently presented, very good portions and exceedingly yummy! Good value for money too. Wish I lived nearer would definitely be my regular pub. Well worth a visit.
First time here and absolutely impressed. Very good food. Fast impressive service. Pleasant and attentive staff. Highly recommended. Will be going back.
Great pub on the canal. Friendly staff, good food at reasonable prices.
Popped in for an impromptu lunch, we didn't book a table but luckily they had a cancellation so were able to sit us. I'd advise pre-booking. I had an amazing Sunday lunch while my partner had a pie which she really enjoyed. The food was great, home made and plentiful. I would definitely come again
Pies are excellent as was the Ale. Farm shop is also worth a visit. Stock up on pies!
