I last reviewed this pub 4 years ago as a 3/4 star. Having been going more frequently recently, I'm updating my review to a solid 5. The decor inside the pub is a throwback to how all pubs used to be (see video) and is maintained and looked after throughout. The current owners are extremely welcom
Nice place, a short walk from the station, locals pub, good service, and decent selection of drinks.
Nice friendly pub, with reasonably priced beer and helpful staff. Ideally located close to the canal. Well worth a visit!
Lovely friendly local pub run by Lovely people. Lovely outside space right by the canal with seating to watch the world go by. Dog friendly too.

Friendly staff and decent lager. I did try the Banks Amber Ale to start with, which wasn't the best so swapped to Carling which was decent. Prices not too bad either.

Very friendly, staff and customers, and fantastic value bea
