Enjoyed our stay. Apartments are very well equipped and plenty of room for a family. Pleasantly impressed. We were here for a wedding.... So location was ideal. If however you are not staying for a wedding, be prepared for loud music as the venue for big parties is behind the apartments.
Overnight stay and conference the following day. The main building and grounds are beautiful and the staff at reception were very courteous. The room was basic but clean and functional however, it could use an update as it was quite dated. The meal in the restaurant was excellent however it did take a long time to arrive. Service was acceptable. Breakfast the following morning was understaffed. The buffet ran out of sausages and bacon and did not get refilled quickly. Food was good though. At the conference there were refreshment and lunch. Again the food and drink supplied were very nice but not enough staff resulted in huge queues.
We attended an evening wedding reception and the designated room was beautiful. We had access to a balcony where we could sit and drink and enjoy the surroundings. The grounds are beautifully maintained and pleasant to walk around. Ideal place for a wedding. I cannot personally add comments about food but were told by family members the meal was excellent.
We had our wedding here and it was the most amazing experience from the start. The wedding planners were amazing! Every email was answered in a timely manner. Every little details was discussed. The day went without a hitch (all but us getting married). The grounds were gorgeous. They made a sure myself and husband were happy with everything. Our guest said how lovely the hotel and staff were. We are so glad we picked the chateau impney for our wedding day. We can’t wait to come back for our one year anniversary .
We went to an antiques fair here so was in large exhibition style out building, not the main hotel. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Every where was clean and appeared well looked after including the toilets. The food was laid on especially for the event and reasonably priced. Can't really complain. Only thing would be to have baby changing facilities on first floor as well as ground floor.
Great venue we held a family wedding here. Really stunning grounds. Lots a staying options on site and around to accommodate guests. There were issues in the set up of the days there but all went well in the end!!
A wonderful experience at the Hill Climb. Excellent surroundings and parking was very well laid out and marshalled. There was a very good selection of food outlets and all staff were very pleasant even in the extreme heat! The toilet facilities were very clean and welcoming! All in all a great day out and they even arranged a hot sunny day! .Well done everyone involved and thank you.
I was here to provide entertainment for a corporate Christmas party, but also stayed the night and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. The hotel is stunning inside and out and can definitely be described as having character! Staff were friendly and helpful. I did feel for such a sumptuous exterior and public areas, that the bedroom was sadly rather dated. Everything was neat and tidy but the decor and especially the green bathroom suite looked like it hadn't been refreshed since being installed probably in the late 70s or 80s. If not for that slight let down it would definitely have been 5 stars.
Exceptional hotel and conference center. The restaurant was as you would expect, bright clean, well kept and in keeping with the Chateau. The food great quality and with a varied menu. Staff were helpful, no problems or concerns. Just a great stay. The grounds & gardens are also excellent. Well worth while exploring and spending time discovering.
Fabulous hotel and grounds, good food and friendly staff. We stayed in small but very nice room at the top of the hotel on the third floor. It was very clean and very nicely decorated. Superb mattress and small bathroom with a fixed head shower.
Great views over the gardens.
Would stay again.
Stayed for 2 nights with my autistic son who also has substantial learning difficulties, the staff treated him with understanding and respect and we were made to feel very welcome indeed. The accommodation was very comfortable and of a high standard. Overall very impressed 👍😊
I went to a wedding reception there. So I did not stay there; so cannot say anything of rooms and service . Really beautiful grounds and gardens. The main part is built in the style of a French chateau and is beautiful and grand. Some add-on buildings are just modern. Lots of parking. Wedding reception was some 500 people which the suite easily accommodated.
We stayed overnight on our wedding night. The exterior and interior of hotel is impressive, especially the staircase. We had a superior room and although pleasant and comfortable it was quite small. The continental elements of the breakfast was very nice but the cooked selection was quite limited.
A very beautiful building in magnificent grounds, and the rooms are stunning. That is if you remember to book into the main chateaux, if you forget and end up in the annexe it is cold, has poor Wifi and is a long walk to get to the bar, especially if it is dark. Most of the staff are pleasant.
