The village cafe is a great place for breakfast in this area! The food is always freshly prepared, the staff is super nice & lovely! Don’t mind the shabby place itself, that needs some attention. But otherwise it’s great to have breakfast here 😎

Staff are brilliant. I'm vegan and gluten free, and this is a regular high st caff. They checked their veggie sausages for allergens, even going so far as to ring the supplier because they weren't listed. When the food arrived it was exactly as expected. I also appreciated the fact that there is no radio or blaring music, very unusual nowadays and very welcome.

Very comfortable and friendly, ideal for breakfast or lunch. They will do any variations you ask for, no questions and the food is good. Ideal for when you don't feel like eating in or doing the pots afterwards.

I can recommend the Tuna mayo barmcake. Lovely and fresh and plenty of filling. My husband had the breakfast which was also really nice and good value for money.
Doesn't matter what time of day you visit, the staff are always friendly, the service is always first class and the food is always amazing. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The prices are as expected for the quality of the food. Always my first choice for a full breakfast.
Brilliant priced food good staff and lovely family
New customer, tried as impressed with the amount of choices for a lunch menu, went through deluveroo. Arrived hot, and all 3 meals were excellent, looking forward to trying some of the other options! Will definitely be back!
Really nice food. Never had to complain about the food. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Social distance in place too. Toilets clean and tidy. Overall lovely place to visit
