went for a family meal tonight, even though we have enjoyed many a meal here but not since the new refurb, tonight the food was lovely, the new staff are super friendly and our night was toppled off by the fantastic magician that was there going around the tables doing magic tricks having never seen one in person, he was really really good not sure if he is actually a new addition to the staff but if he is, he's a keeper!! entertained young,old and "slightly" older on a high level leaving us all mouth open at some point!
so thank you meadow lark we will be back again!!
The food was great they service was great. Visited here yesterday even though it was busy we never had to wait long for a drink or to find a table. We ordered food and it came out in a timely manner. The food was presented nice and it was hot and tasty. We have always enjoyed the food here and the staff are friendly welcoming and polite
Pub looks great from the outside. The staff were really helpful+friendly. Food great+served really quickly. Will be going again+recommend it to anyone.

Three of us visited the Meadowlark for late lunch on Saturday 15th of July at 3:30. This ‘Sizzling’ branded pub / restaurant is in a purpose-built, relatively modern building on the edge of a residential estate. The premises are open plan and nicely decorated although signs of wear are evident in some places. On our arrival all unoccupied tables had been cleared ready for guests arriving. Cleanliness is good. The menu provides a reasonable choice of food and there is a good selection of hot and cold drinks available at the bar. It is a family pub / restaurant and at the time of our visit there seemed more children than adults, some of whom were being allowed to run riot. We ordered at the bar, rather than through the app, and we were quickly served by a friendly member of staff. Drinks were prepared immediately to carry back to our table, although they were almost knocked from my hand by unruly children. The food was brought to our table within 20 minutes of ordering and was nicely prepared. Food is typical chain pub fayre (frozen chips etc). We ordered sizzling rump steak, double hunter’s chicken and fish & chips. Two of the dishes were good value for money, although the fish & chips were disappointing (thin fish / dry chips).
Overall, this is a pretty good family pub / restaurant with efficient, friendly service and reasonable food at a generally fair price. If you don’t mind eating in the middle of a playground I would recommend it. If you want a quiet or romantic meal I would give it a miss. We would probably return but avoid ordering the fish & chips.
I just had an amazing time at this restaurant! The food was seriously so good – each dish felt like a burst of flavors that showed how much effort the chef puts into their work. The staff there were really nice and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. I'd totally suggest this place if you're into delicious food and a warm atmosphere created by a dedicated team.
Staff are very friendly. Food is cheap. Good offers.would recommended Burgers ,they are always tasty.
Was not very impressed by the chicken fajitas sizzling meal. But the chicken nachos are amazing. Everything was clean and staff are attentive.
2 for £10.50 option was reasonable in size...fish and chips...obviously freshly cooked. The place is pleasant, not too closely furnished and staff were very helpful. Outside space is impressive. Lovely

I just wanted to 'Thank' the staff at the Meadow Lark yesterday 16/08/23 for their amazing hospitality for our family. we held my fathers wake there and they couldn't have been nicer. the food was lovely. it was hot, fresh and well presented. everyone commented on how nice it was and different to the normal buffets as we had onion rings, fried chicken wings, saucages,garlic bread,bbq chicken pieces,battered mushrooms. All the staff were really nice too!....and the brownies were out of this world!

Good service, large portions. We needed extra people adding to our booking the management made this happen at short notice. And children for £1 each is really good value.
God value for money, had 40% voucher for main meal. Food nice, was busy in there but staff was all friendly and helpful getting us a table.
Excellent table service and great food with only one let down.
The waffle on your pudding menu says waffle shop.
It was just a pre packed waffle and not fresh as the title my be misleading it was a disappointing pudding.
Otherwise a good time had by all
Great place, good choice of ale, lager, cider and wines. Large choice of food. Quiet booth areas and party areas. Highly recommend.
Food was great but the 1hr 15 minute wait was not. (Was advised 30 min wait at point of ordering) Especially with an autistic child who simply wants his food and cannot understand waiting so long for food
Great value for money & such an extensive menu to choose from.
Clean and tidy surroundings, helpful and attentive staff and management.
