Lunchtime Today The Bridge Inn, love the location it has a nice decor and a spacious riverside patio. The food was delicious and those that love their Steak Blue will be pleased to know the Chef pulls it off perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive. We had the Baked Cambert to share as a starter and the sprig of Rosemary gave it a hint of fragrant flavor very nice start to the meal. Tom and I had the Surf and Turf though I subbed Sweat Potato Fries the Steak was great and loved the Crispy Fried King Prawns the accompanying Chimichuri sauce was a little bland compared to others I've had didn't taste Evan a hint of Garlic. Mum went for the Gluten-free Royale Chicken Tikka Masala which she thoroughly enjoyed. For dessert, Mum went with the GF Sticky Toffee Pudding and I had the Dark Chocolate Delice which was Topped with Popcorn both were excellent. They have a Lunch/ Early Dinner Deal of 2 courses at £15 or 3 courses at £17.50. Highly recommend a visit.
A first visit, after cycling passed many times, and really enjoyed it. Sat outside by the river which is always good to. Tables and chairs were clean and comfy. The nice touch for me was the space afforded to each table so you could position the parasol to your liking even if it wasn’t dead centre of your table. Ordered at bar to a cheery person. Had the chicken/chorizo kebab, cheeseburger with bacon and buttermilk strips. Came swiftly and loved it, looked like a small portion but once eaten, more would have been a waste. Super tasty for me. Will be back for sure.
